Special.

Chapter 6

*Time skip a few hours to where they're actually at the cabin.*

I look at the cabin in front of us, mouth agape.

"Okay, now we won't EVER call anything on that map what it seems!" Twlya said, grinning. No joke. The 'cabin' was a enormous house. It was so pretty. I could hear a waterfall near here and there were clearings all around here. Perfect for training.

"Okay, so how are we gonna do this?" Ella asked.

I thought about that. "Let's check out the house first." I said, deciding to see if we can find better  weapons then we already have there. We all walk inside and instantly all gasp. I see the glamorous interior, like this was made for royalty. I hear Rose let out a small whimper of excitement and Lucas saying, "I know."

I then force down my excitement and say, "Let's explore."

Everyone nods and partners up.  We had already decided on sticking with partners for the trip because it could be dangerous going anywhere alone. Rose with Lucas, Violet with Ben, Ella with Twyla, Dan with Bronie, and May is with me.

We all go our separate ways and we head upstairs. We checked three rooms before the fourth made me pause. "What?" May asks. 

"I have a feeling there's something here." I tell her and inspect the room more closely. I feel a warmth at my neck. It's the medallion. I walk towards the door and it gets colder. So it's a game of hotter or colder. May asks me what I'm doing and I tell her about the medallion. We walk around the room until I walk to a wall.

I find it. There's a button hidden on the wall. I push it. and we find the weapons stash.

 "Woah! Look at these nice bows!" May says picking up a pretty good looking bow. I nod and look at the rest of the weapons. There are at least a dozen bows and swords. Not to mention the twenty packs of arrows with twenty arrows in each. There are also a pretty impressive arrange of knives. From long to short they had it all.

"Gosh May, I guess now everyone can have one of these weapons!"

She nodded frantically at me. I smile and we agree to tell the others of our findings.

We all had agreed to meet as quickly as we could back downstairs, in the front room. We go back down and find everyone else except Rose and Lucas there already. Twyla says, "About time! Now we just need Rose and Lucas!" as we sit down.

They all share their findings. Ben and Violet found a ton of food in the kitchen, Twyla and Ella found a shooting range when they headed north from here, and Bronie and Daniel found a bunch of training dummies in the back room along with extra clothes and food.  Finally May and I share the info about the weapon stash and how my medallion lead me to it.

Twyla considers this and says, "It must be that whoever built this place made it for you and the others of the prophecy." Everyone agrees with her and I ask where Rose and Lucas are. Daniel makes a joke about how they're upstairs making out and how could we not hear them and Twyla, May, and I laugh, Bronie and Ella glare at him, and Violet and Ben turn towards each other and blushed.

Then I realized. Ben and Violet. Were they just looking for supplies? I decide to ask them.

"Ben, Violet, did you guys make-out?" They look at each-other then me before Ben mutters, "Yeah."

We all gasp and start laughing. Even Ella and Bronie can't resit it. I finally stop and say, "Hey, I'm going to check on them, you know, just in case." May nods while wiping tears from her eyes and I leave. I start towards the direction they said they were going. South from the cabin. I find a waterfall and look around. They don't seem to be here. I turn to go when I hear voices. I follow the sound until I find a small, secret cave.

I can make out the voices now. It's Rose and Lucas. They're in the cave, which seems to lead to a small safe haven with beautiful trees, grass, and flowers. I catch my breath for a second before listening to Rose and Lucas.

"Um, Lucas?" Rose asks.

"Yeah Rose?" Lucas replies smoothly.

"I-I-I, I like you." She says. I see her look down when she says this. I know this moment should be private, but I can't help but to stay.

"That's good," he says and Rose looks up. He then continues, "because I like you too."

Their eyes meet and I can see all the love they've been holding in come out. And they pull into a long, sweet kiss.
