Sometimes the world tends to act cruel to those it knows has a certain future. And it's not the world's fault. There is someone up there. Her name is Fate.
"Oh. Seems like that one worked out just right and nicely. And she'll meet him again... in about 10 years." Surrounded by pink fluffy pillows and snacks a young girl in pastel colours to match the atmosphere of the room, which seemed to stretch on for an eternity.
"You weren't even sure it would work!?" A small boy behind her, it was hard to tell he was a boy. He had slim female features. And that didn't really help him as he seemed to act so childish that one could rarely tell anyway. In fact if one to be with them they wouldn't even hear him speaking as he was mute. But the stars floating around spelled out what he needed and Fate simply read it.
"Of course not my job is to keep the ones who need to live alive and kill the ones who don't. Especially the ones who need to die." She however was a clad in very cute clothing. A big green eye staring into the deepest parts of space. "Aren't you supposed to be doing a regulatory count soon?"
"Not if the planet numbers keep changing. My fight is with the one who keeps making and destroying. Yours is with morality. Wanna switch?"
"Ha! You think I would choose that bitch over my job? Universe, dear. Please hold me a bit higher than her. Oh Unick you still have a lot to learn." She laughed standing from her chair. "Go on before Chronos comes looking for you."
"Fine." The word was gone quicker than it came along with him.
"I'm still learning about these people. And Réya... she's just gonna slaughter these kids. And I've got no power over it...." she smiled and hugged a pillow closest to her. "At least I'm learning.."
