Making a Friend

"Come on Yuuki! We gotta go go go!" Scott Vernon. The little brother of Grace Vernon. Jumped building to building. Such a feat to see. Such an annoyance to his friend Yuuki Hua.

"No we don't you simply want us to go." He said sounding pretty annoyed. The young boy had matured to a somewhat sharp physical look. He moved behind the other boy with short quick steps along the rooftops. 

He seemed more focused on the ground and what was happening than the one in front of him. "Come on Yuuki lighten up. It's quitting time. We should hit up your father's shop before I head home." 

"When do you not follow me home before going your own way. You act like you ever just go home. You're like a lost puppy. Why do you even hang out with me? Better yet why do I allow you too." He grumbled. 

"Because us guardians got to stick together! And we're bros. Best buddies. Come on plenty if people became gaurdians same time as us. Why do you think I chose you instead of the apparently hot chick." He joked with a light tone followed by a light touch to the ground. 

"I just thought you were gay. I wasn't against it but hey you do you." He said shrugging. And he meant it as far as the energetic male figured. "As long as you don't come on to me."

"I'm not gay dude. Nothing against them. Pretty sure my sister was gay." He said taking a moment to think before shal in ng it off. "No. I partnered with you because you're my bro. And bros have to stick together."

"Last I checked we were not related and there is no way to describe what you said other than stupid. Seems a shame that's all you ever come up with."

"I'm starting to wish I took the hot chick over you." He grumbled as they walked on upon arriving to the tea shop. It was small and humble but had a very inviting feel. Almost as if calling you in. 

"Then do so. No one told us to pick partners." Yuuki said as he opened the door only to let it shut. "I'll walk you home tonight."

"What? What's with the sudden change of plans. You never walk me home. We're right here. Come on. I wanna say hi to your grandfather." He said going to open the door. Before he was stopped. 

"I will walk you home." Yuuki said and held the door closed. "There is nothing in there for us."

".... you're acting strange dude. Come on. Let's just head in." Scott said this time moving Yuuki out if the way and opening the door. 

Inside sitting at the table was Tei and another young pale blonde woman. "-and so I had to do something or else the baby would keep crying without the pacifier. So while the mom went to rinse it I held the baby and she got so quiet. It was scary and amazing at the same time."

"Oh- Hello?" Scott said looking in seeing them there. "Is the shop not closed yet? I thought it was."

"Oh yes yes it is. I'm entertaining a guest of my own. Come in you two. Especially you Yuuki." Tei said standing. 

"Grandfather. Why is she here?" Yuuki said as he came around the corner and frowned. His face seemed to be displeased though inside a question he had been asking himself since that fateful walk years ago vanished. 

"Yuuki. Look at how much you've grown. You're quite handsome now aren't you. I bet you've got girls from everywhere trying to get at you." Nicole smiled standing up and waving at the two males. "Nice to meet you friend of Yuuki-kun."
