The news was a not a friends of Nicole's that day. The moment she saw it on the news she knew Yuuki was out there. If she were closer she would have went. Had her older guardian not held her back she would have been there. 

"Come on let me go. What if they die? You act like you do not want to jump in. I mean come one you know the kid too. And Scott is there is he not like your little brother or something. Like you raised him." She said from her spot on the couch. After being threatened to be shocked mercilessly without cessation if she tried to leave. 

"Because it is was too dangerous. Did you not here the news now. This was a gang affiliated crime. They want to kill you people. They want to kill us. And Grimma is the worse. Her daughters are just like her i bet. And they are the ones on the scene." Tanya was clearly against her going out there. "They will be fine there is some other team down there come on look and you can see for yourself." She said the T.V. set was on full blast much to the displeasure, or one could assume the displeasure, of Tony who was sitting on the couch with an uncaring look a book in his hand. " Please get out of your funk. I promise he will be fine. They will all be fine. The two they met are pretty good at what they are doing." 

Sitting up out of the corner of the chair she looked to the screen. The battle ensuing was clearly one that was going to last awhile. Until it stopped. All was quiet before another punch was thrown. The wind had kicked up and despite being so far away and watching through a screen she could tell it was unnatural. The way it moved and the control. It was definitely made by someone who was Edge. And so she knew exactly who it was. " She sent Wendy after them. The whirlwind. And I bet she sent Moira too. Both her and Wendy. They will not be able to take them on. They will not hesitate to kill them. I know it." 

"Then we will pray that they do not die. After all that is all I will allow you to do. If you go down there I will not be the one to lose you. Not after all these years of keeping you safe. I do not do anything in vain. In fact I dare you to try and leave. You know as well as I do that they can handle it. Adding another person will make them lose focus. Not always should be more. I mean you especially do not want him to get hurt because he was occupied with you." Tanya said as Yuuki came up on the screen droning on about some random facts that they had managed to gather. It was one of the only times he had ever been on camera and a lot of people were curious about him. He seemed to be making his way to the other and rushing. His lips were moving but to quickly to have anything be caught. He must have done so on purpose. 

"...I guess you are right." Giving a sigh she sat back in the seat watching the fight ensue. She could only hope that things went okay. But the moment somethings seemed to be going south, she knew there was nothing holding her back from going to protect her own people. Even if she was going to ease her own worry, there was no harm in doing that. She only wished it were a hop, a skip, a step away. Would she even have time if things were to go bad? 

"When am I wrong? They will handle this. Trust me, nothing these guys will not be able to do. And if this is it then this is it. We can not go risking all of our lives at once or else they win and we lose." Words of wisdom to follow in the several years to come. Such words that were needed to be had.
