The lounge was filled with laughter after the 5 paladins, and 2 Alteans. They were telling stories of their loved ones back home, that they had misses so much.

"Then Veronica slipped, and the tamales went everywhere. One even hit her boyfriend in the face!" Lance snicker. Shiro smiled in response to Lance's ending, dropping it when Allura began to talk, which caught his attention.

"Is he okay?" Allura asked, intrigued on the knowledge.

"Oh yeah of course. It just surprised him. It's kinda like a slap in the face from Pidge." Lance grinned at his own comment.

"You want to test that theory?" Pidge grifted out of their teeth, eying Lance. Shiro casually reached his arm in front of Pidge, not wanting anything to escalate. Lance's expression changed, and he gulped.

"N-No, not really." He replied shakily.

"Good" Pidge replied, leaning back in their spot. Shiro retreated his hand, and placed it on his crossed legs.

"I miss my family. I would give to see them again." Hunk thought out loud. "To taste my mom's cooking," he closed his eyes and only dreamt.

"Yeah. I can't wait to find my dad and brother. They, and my mom of course, mean the world to me." Pidge replied quietly, tilting their classes. Pidge looked up to see Allura, sadly, but with a soft smile, looking down at her lap.

"I too miss my family, and would give all to see them once more. But now you guys are my family!" Allura chimed. Smiling wide, with closed eyes.

"Yes, I agree." Coran spoke softly, smiling. "What about you, Keith? Shiro?" Spoke Coran once more.

"I don't have a famy except Shiro, and he's like my brother." Keith responded blatantly. Not changing his expression. Shiro smiled at him.

"What happened to your family?" Allura piped. "If you don't mind me asking!"

"It's fine. My mother left when I was young, and my father died in a fire when I was 8." Keith explained. The room feel silent.

"Oh man, I'm sorry." Hunk replied to Keith's little story. "I don't know what I'd do without my parents." Hunk whispered, but everyone could hear.

"It's fine really, it's life, but I have other people-"

"Awww, is keefy the emo
gtg he lone wolf being all heartwarming?" Lance cut Keith off, mocking what he was going to say.

"-other people I can ignore, because they're idiots." Lances face dropped as Keith continued. "And Pidge. At least I have Pidge." Everyone snickered as Lance felt hurt by Keith's words, dropping onto Hunk's lap to fake cry.

"You're so cruel Keith!" Lance whinnied. Everyone laughed more at Lance's ridiculous act.

"So. Shiro. What about you?" Coran spoke once more, eyeing the tall man with grey and black hair. Shiro's face dropped a bit, as Lance sat up.

"Well, no, not really. My family are pretty toxic, so I cut them out of my life. There is one other person, but that's for a different time." Shiro smiled at the end of his story.

"Who is it?" Pidge poked in.

"Well, like I said-" Shiro was cut off.

"Yeah Shiro, whom is this person you dare not speak the name of?" Lance spoke, inching closer to Shiro.
