So this oneshot takes place in the alternate time line. So Julian just joined the police for like a month and you're Barry's sister

You walked through the police station towards Barry's office. You were holding some files which he handed to you.

You knew he was the flash. He had to do something. Lately he had been quite busy. He had a new college who he was sharing a lab with. They didn't seem to like each other. He had some flash things to do but these files needed to get to the office before noon.

You weren't really looking forwards to seeing Julian. You had no idea if Barry was overreacting or not.

You sighed and walked into the lab. You saw a man standing near some microscopes. He was quite tall and had dark blonde hair. You couldn't really see his face.

He seemed to have heard you. He turned around. His blue eyes looked into yours. You were kinda swept of your feet by his handsome appearance. Julian thought you didn't looked bad yourself. He hadn't seen you yet.

'Can I help you?' He asked after a small silence.

He had a beautiful English accent and a smooth voice.

'Erm.. yeah, are you Julian Albert?' You asked.

He walked towards his desk.

'It's says here I am.'

You chuckled. That was a surprise to Julian. Not many people really thought that his sense of humour was funny. It made him smile.

'I'm Y/N Allen.. Barry's sister. He couldn't make it to work so he asked me if I could give this to you.'

'He's missing work? Again?' Julian asked.

'Yeah.' You just said while waking over to him.

You handed him the files. Julian grabbed it.

'I'm sorry about this. I haven't read it by the way. I know I'm not supposed to.'

'I've been here for like a month and almost every day he's either late or he leaves early. How am I supposed to work with someone like that?'

You didn't know what to say. You did kinda get why Julian didn't like working with Barry. Of course he didn't know that he was the flash but when he said it like that it kinda made sense.

'I'm sorry. I shouldn't be discussing this with his sister.'

'It's fine.' You smiled. 'Barry is a busy man. This was the first time I've seen him in a long time.'

That was true. You lived on your own on the other side of town. You didn't see Barry often. He had Iris and team flash. You weren't a part of it. You weren't extraordinary. You wanted to help but Barry didn't want to pull you into that life.

'So you only see him when he needs a favour.'

'Yeah.. kind off.'

Julian put down the file with a sigh.

'I would do anything to see my sister.' He said.

'Does she live in England?' You asked.

Julian looked up.

'No.. sadly she's not.. amongst us anymore.' He said while sitting down.

'Oh I'm sorry..'

'You couldn't know. It's fine.'

'You and Barry aren't really.. friends, are you?'

'Someone who's that impossible to work with.. I just can't be friends with someone like that. I take this job very seriously.'

'I think you're not as bad as he told me you are.' You smiled. 'If I had to believe him You wouldn't insulted me twice by now.'

He looked up.

'He warned you for me?' He snorted. 'I'm a perfectly fine human being but I have to speak out if something bothers me.'

'I get that. I also wish Barry was less busy with other things. It's okay to speak up about that. Especially because I don't dare to tell him.'

Julian could see that it bothered you. He signed to you that you could sit down if you wanted.

'Won't I be distracting you?' You asked.

'Else I'd be here all by myself. Besides, I do know how to multitask unlike some other guys.'

You laughed and sat down In front of him. You watched Julian check some files.

'You should talk to him about it. I think Barry would listen to you.'

'I don't think so. He's kinda busy with other things. I only recently moved here. I moved away after mom and dad passed away. I came back to spend more time with Barry and the rest.. but that isn't really working.'

Julian looked up.

'Do you even know anyone here?' He asked.

'Barry, his friends.. and that's really it.'

'So you're like me. I hardly know anyone here either.' He smiled.

'Well you know me now.' You grinned.

Julian grinned.

'Yeah I do.' He smiled. 'We should hang out some time.'

It was actually meant as a joke and you knew that but you really did want to hang out with him sometime.

'Sure! I'll write down my number.'

Julian blushed a little. You smiled and wrote down your number and handed it to him.

'Y/N, what are you still doing here?'

You looked up and saw Barry.

'I'm chatting with Julian.' You smiled.

'You should become more like your sister.' Julian said.

Barry looked at you two in a bit of confusion while you two just laughed.
