Chp. 5 Wakiya's Return! Cyclone Wyvern!

"It's finally finished" Rikka thought to herself. She had been working on the design of her bey for a few days now. "Hey Rikka!" A voice yelled opening her door. "There you are. Everyone's waiting for you" Ishiki said. Ishiki was Yuuta's best friend from their old school before Beigoma academy and had transferred there also. Everyone agreed to take a small tour of the town surrounding Beigoma academy. It was a fairly large town. "I'll be right there" she responded. Ishiki closed the door. Rikka turned around to her desk and reorganized her designs and put them into her backpack. She opened her door and headed down stairs. Yuuta, Ishiki, and Kumin were waiting for her. "Hey Rikka. Ready to go?" Kumin asked picking up her back pack. Rikka nodded. "You ok?" Yuuta asked. "You seem a little spaced out. More than usual actually". "It's just your imagination" Rikka said bluntly. Yuuta walked over to Rikka and looked her in the eye. "Something's wrong". Rikka started to blush. "That's personal information. You can't just dig into my mind like that!" she yelled. "I'm just worried about you, that's all. No secrets you know. But you're right. This just doesn't seem like you". Rikka stopped blushing for a moment before blushing even harder. "Oh no. That sounded really cheesy didn't it" Yuuta said turning to Ishiki and Kumin. "No, I think that sounded sweet" Kumin said. "You're in the clear dude. Don't worry" Ishiki said raising a thumbs up. "I'll just take Kumin's opinion". Rikka lifted her backpack and said, "We don't have a lot of time. The sun is already starting to set!". "It's not even past noon yet" Yuuta said. "But time does fly Togashi" Kumin said. "Yeah, I guess you're right. Alright. Let's go!".

The town was quite the sight to see. It was almost overwhelming just to look at. At around 1:00 the group stopped at a large hill. Rikka ran to the top. When the rest of the group arrived they were met with a view of the whole town. To the right of it, there was a beach with a large ocean. In the sunlight it almost glowed. "Yuuta" Rikka said grabbing Yuuta's arm and pulling him to the top. "Look. The lights we saw under the bridge followed us here. They're dancing on the ocean!". "Umm, what is she talking about Yuuta?" Ishiki asked confused. Yuuta looked up into the sky. "A while back at home, me and Rikka took a walk. Her parasol fell under the bridge. When we found it there, the lights of the city were so bright. They almost looked like they were dancing on the water". "That was when I first came to this dimension". "What?" Ishiki said more confused. "On the first day of high school". Ishiki pieced everything together and finally understood what they were talking about. On the way to the next location, Rikka stopped for a moment. "Hey Yuuta, I'm going to drop off my designs for my bey". Yuuta turned around. "Ok, but where?". Rikka pointed to the building on her right. It was a lab made for custom beys. "Wow. Didn't know there was one so close by. Well, we'll wait out here while you drop them off". Rikka nodded and went inside. There were so many people waiting for their bey to be completed. "Oh, hello. Are you here to pick up a bey?" the receptionist said. "No, I'm here to submit my design for my bey". "Oh, alright. just set your designs in a separate container for safe keeping until one of the scientists can get to them. They lock when the designs are inserted so they're safe". Rikka nodded. She took out her designs and put them into an enclosed container. It made a small click sound when she put it in. "The lock is now switched on. Once closed they'll be safe and sound". Rikka waited a moment before she closed the container. When she did, it was tightly shut. "Alright. We'll have you custom bey sent to you as soon as we're finished with it. Thanks for stopping by". Rikka slowly left the building. She was looking down to the floor. Yuuta and the others were waiting outside. "That was quick" Yuuta said. When Rikka lifted her face she was filled with excitement. "Yuuta, how long do you think it'll take for my bey to be finished?" she asked curiously. "It took Leviathan about three days for it to be finished. So, it should be around the same". Rikka was so filled with anticipation that she jumped into the air, but she accidentally bumped into someone, and both of them fell over.

"Hey, watch where you're going" the person said. "Ah, sorry" Rikka apologized. When both stood back up, Yuuta was surprised. "Wait a sec. WAKIYA?". The person looked at Yuuta. "Hold on. Yuuta Togashi? What a surprise". Wakiya looked at Yuuta's side to see a launcher. "I thought you said you were quitting beyblade after that unpleasant defeat". Wakiya said with a smirk on his face. "Yeah, I did didn't I. You haven't changed a bit". "So tense" Ishiki whispered to himself. "We haven't battled in a while. Last time we faced off was at nationals. I assume you still have that pathetic bey of yours". "If I remember correctly it was that bey that burst you in the final round of nationals" Yuuta countered. "Why you-". Both glared at each other with eyes locked. "If you two are going to fight then battle each other" Kumin cut in. Both of the bladers looked at Kumin then back to each other.  Then Wakiya started to smile. "Alright then, let's. This battle will show you the real difference between us". "Well, let's find a stadium first. We can't battle on the ground". The group found a large stadium in the park. Yuuta and Wakiya stepped on opposite sides of the stadium. "Get ready for the inevitable" Wakiya said confidently. He pulled out his bey and held it to Yuuta. "This is your opponent, Cyclone Wyvern!". Wyvern was mostly purple with a green middle and a free spinning ring on the outer edge made of metal. "That's quite the upgrade. Let's see how it holds up". "3! 2! 1! Go, Shoot!". Both beys flew into the stadium. Wyvern headed for the center immediately. Leviathan was racing around the stadium at high speeds. Leviathan hit a wall and headed for Wyvern. "Let's see how strong you've gotten.  Leviathan!". Leviathan hit Wyvern but bounced right off it's layer. Wyvern didn't even budge. "Try and try all you want. But Wyvern doesn't just have defense capabilities" Wakiya said as Leviathan continued to hit Wyvern. Leviathan hit Wyvern again, but this time it moved back. "Finish it off, Shield Crash!". A purple aura glowed around Wyvern and it raced down the stadium quickly. When Wyvern hit Leviathan, Leviathan was sent flying out of the stadium past Yuuta. Yuuta's face was surprised. He turned around to pick up Leviathan. "That was his weakest move. But it had so much power" Yuuta thought to himself. Wakiya was also surprised. He seemed angry. "How was that NOT was burst" he yelled. Wyvern was still spinning. In fact it seemed that it was spinning faster than when the battle first started. Yuuta looked at Wyvern for a moment. "Hey, we don't have all day here" Wakiya said. "R-right". "3! 2! 1! Go, Shoot!". Leviathan raced around the Stadium. But Wyvern was on the outer edge as well. "What's he up to" Yuuta thought". Wakiya started to smile. Wyvern started to gain more and more speed with each passing moment. While on the outer edge Leviathan was hit by Wyvern towards the center. Leviathan was now circling the inner edge. "Now, Super Tempest Attack!". Wyvern gained so much speed it bounced off the edge of the stadium towards the center. "Dodge it Leviathan!". Leviathan barely got out of the way of the attack and Wyvern lost most of it's speed when it missed. "What! How could it miss?". Wakiya was once again riled up. "Time for a counter attack!" Yuuta yelled. Leviathan regained enough balance to return to the outer edge. When it hit the outer edge of the stadium Leviathan sped up. It hit a stadium wall and raced towards Wyvern. "Wyvern, Metal Tempest Shield!". Wyvern's metal ring on it's layer created a large ring of wind around it. "Break through, Leviathan. Typhoon Wind!". Leviathan struck Wyvern and the beys clashed for a moment. Then Leviathan burst through Wyvern's defense. Wakiya, in shock, stared at the parts of Wyvern. "Alright Togashi!" Kumin yelled. "That was awsome!" Ishiki followed. "Hey, Wakiya" Yuuta said picking up Leviathan. "Your bey is really strong. Definitely stronger than the one from nationals. Wakiya slowly picked up the parts of Wyvern. "Well naturally. Your bey moved right at the last second. What's that about?". Yuuta laughed. "You didn't think I was just going to let you hit us did you?". "Well, remember this, Next time we battle things will be different". "I'll be counting on it. Maybe we should meet up again sometime". Wakiya turned around. "Hmph".
