The Flaming Dragon! Inferno Salamander!

Note: So, for the purpose of this chapter (and throughout the rest of this story) Suoh's bey's name will be changed to Inferno Salamander.

The next day, Naru was feeding the animals in the small farm beside the school. Just then, a cold wind blew. She felt an odd presence, as if something was behind her. She quickly turned around to see Suoh. "Good morning." He said. "Oh, hi." Naru replied. "Is your brother, Aiga, here?" "No, sorry. He's training right now, but I can get him if you want" Suoh smiled. "That's alright. Just tell him that Salamander came to see him." Suoh then slowly walked away. 'Well that was weird' Naru thought to herself.

In the Beigoma Academy Bey club, Rikka was practicing her launch. In the stadium next to her, Yuuta and Aiga were also training for the Longinus Cup. The two were still at odds concerning who would win. They battled over and over, and almost each battle ended in a tie. Aiga sighed and fell to the ground as well as Yuuta. "Not again!" Aiga groaned. "How do I keep tying with you?!" "Well, it might be that you've gotten a bit stronger since last time." Yuuta joked. "Hey! Are you saying that I'm not stronger than you?" Yuuta began to laugh. "Maybe." got up and grabbed Aiga's arm to help him get up. "Thanks." Aiga said tying to regain his balance.

"Hey, guys!" Tokonatsu said running to the two bladers. "What's up Tokonatsu?" "Didn't you hear? Suoh just got his bey!" Upon hearing those words, Aiga and Yuuta were instantly interested in what type of bey Suoh chose. Rikka overheard and was also curious. "Do you know where he is?" Aiga asked. "Naru just told me they were at the Wild Bey Gang's hideout. "The Wild Bey Gang?" Yuuta and Rikka said in unison. "Oh, I forgot to tell you. Boss' little brother is the captain of a Bey Club called 'The Wild Bey Gang'." Yuuta then began to grin. "Well, this should be fun." he said quietly.

At the Wild Bey Gang's hideout, Suoh was surrounded by five bladers. "Aren't you from the Beigoma Academy Bey Club?" One of the bladers said. "Lay off, Tobisuke." A voice came from behind a wall. A moment later, a tall boy with large, blonde hair, hazel eyes and a bandage on his left cheek stepped out. He wore a long, white jacket with flame designs on the sleeves and at the end. He also had an orange shirt and pants that were half black and half red.

"So, Is it finished?" The blader asked. Suoh pulled out a black and red bey and held it to the blader. "This is Inferno Salamander." "Let's see how many seconds it takes to beat it." Suoh chuckled. "What's so funny?" The blader asked. "I was just wondering how many seconds it would take to beat your Crash Ragnarok, Ranjiro." Ranjiro winced as he and Suoh stepped to a stadium. "We'll be playing by the Wild Bey Gang's rule. The battle doesn't end until someone bursts." He said. "Fine by me."

As the two loaded their launchers, Yuuta, Tokonatsu, Aiga, Nika and Rikka walked inside. "Looks like we're just in time." Tokonatsu said. "Tokonatsu." Suoh said. "Yeah?" "Would you mind being the referee for this battle?" Tokonatsu nodded, although he was hesitant.

"All right. Bladers ready?" Toko said. "Set!" "3! 2! 1! Go, Shoot!" The two beys flew into the stadium. Crash Ragnarok, an orange, right spinning stamina type immediately took the center. "Cut the with your metal wing! Ragnarok Typhoon!" Suddenly, the metal wings on Ragnarok's layer extended, and a large wall of wind surrounded Ragnarok. As the others looked at Suoh's bey, they noticed it was spinning in the opposite direction. 'A left spin bey, huh?' Ranjiro thought. "Wrath of the Flaming Tornado!" As Salamander circled Ragnarok, a flaming wall engulfed Salamander. When the two bey's clashed, Salamander pushed Ragnarok's wings back in, and the wall of wind disappeared.

"No way!" Ranjiro exclaimed. "Finish it, Salamander!" Salamander then attacked Ragnarok and knocked it out of the stadium. However, it burst mid-air. "Suoh wins with a burst finish." Tokonatsu announced. Aiga smiled and pulled out his Achilles. "Hey, Suoh! Battle me next!" "With pleasure." Suoh said calmly.

"Alright. Let's do this!" Aiga yelled loading his launcher. "First battle." Tokonatsu said. "Ready, Set!" "3! 2! 1! Go, Shoot!" Both beys landed in the stadium with perfect launches. Salamander took the center as Achilles circled around the ridge. "Achilles!" Aiga cried. "Z Shoot!" Achilles went into a flower pattern as it attacked Salamander rapidly. Every time it hit it, the attacks were parried by its ten blades on its layer.

"Achilles! Z Buster!" Aiga yelled as he jumped and cut the wind with  his hand. Achilles attacked Salamander with one of it's metal blades. Salamander was knocked out of the stadium and fell to the ground. "That's one point with an over finish. Aiga is in the lead with a score of one to zero."

"Nice one, Aiga!" Yuuta said. Ranjiro looked over at Yuuta and said, "Hey, haven't I seen you somewhere before?" Yuuta smiled. "Yeah, a few times, though you probably don't remember. I'm Yuuta Togashi. I used t be one of the members of the Beigoma Academy Bey Club with your brother, Rantaro." He replied. Ranjiro thought for a moment and then had a large smile on his face. "Hey, wait a minute. Come to think of it, I do remember you and my brother battling like crazy.  So, you're back in town, huh? Well if you ever get bored with Beigoma Academy, feel free to join us!" "Thanks, but I'll pass."
