She left?one side of his heart asked, yes they leave you only when you need them,the other side answered.He raked his face with his fingers, sighing in frustration,he placed his head on his pillow, he looked at his chubby star, she was sleeping and he could tell she was sad when she lied down.The 'pout'.She also pouts,yes he could remember;

"But Alhaji do u think she doesn't have problem?" She pouted and he could tell she was sad.

Hjy Fatima felt a pang of jealousy in her chest but she sighed, it is not that she is against his marriage,No but she was scared she knows about how these co-wives behave,Ya Allah she is too scared.

"My Zara please take heart Insha Allah she won't snatch me from you".He winked and she smiled.

"Hey Ado dinnan ta fita daga bakinki,Adam na ke(You better stop calling me Ado,I'm Adam)."

"Madre I've being talking to you"He whined.

She looked at him and he could tell that she was upset.

"Madre?"he questioned and she knew what he meant.Her only son,her friend, her companion,her confidant.

"Muhammad,your father is bringing in another...ahm woman".She couldn't even call her his wife.She was jealous.

"But Madre do we need another maid? I think we have more than enough."

"Hmm" she smiled,a smile he couldn't fathom

"I mean as his..."she paused before saying it "Ahm his wife"

"Wwwhattt!!! ?!". He exclaimed.

"Calm down Muhammad"She said in almost a whisper.

"Haba Madre how on earth would I calm down? We are beyond happy now Ma I don't want it to be ruined".He replied exasperated.

"Muhammad we need to accept what Allah has planned for us ka ji ?don't disturb yourself Uhm? Your WAEC is around the corner focus on your studies I want flat A's my 'kwaro. Haba Bobona smile mana."

He knows what she means when she calls him Bobo his mother masters in bribery and corruption.So he smiled.

"Madre yunwa"he whined.

"U better stop behaving like a child u will be 18 in the next two months,in an girma a san an girma(you better behave maturely)is it because you are the only child?"She asked teasingly.

"Thank God your new mom is bringing you a sister and I hope she could be able to bear children".

"She even has a child"? He asked a bit surprised.

"Yes I think she is even 16."

After a long silence,she spilled out what was bugging her;

"Bobo I don't want your father to stop loving me" she pouted ,fluttering her eyelashes and he started laughing,So old poeple pout huh?"

"Gidanku Bobo I'm not Old it is that your Old granny that is Old".

"Eh na ji ki sarai Zara'u (I heard you well Zara'u)". An Old woman probably of sixty years of age said annoyingly.

"Kakus stop calling my mother Zara'u she is Zara". Muhammad warned eyeing her, he hates the guts of this woman she is gifted in terms of provoking people. No one can stand her for good 120 seconds,except if you are ready for her persistent naggings. A throbbing headache in addition.

"Iyee Allahu Rabbi Muhammadu ka fita daga idona in rufe(Be careful with me),is it because I called this your barren mother Zara'u?"

"Chill Kakus, please stop saying this, Am I not her child? she gave birth to me so she Isn't barren it's her destiny,no one can change it."

"Tun kan a haifi ubanka na ke zuwa makaranta,da za ka ce min in cilla(The chill he said) Arabi da boko ba za ka nuna min bah a lokacin mu Mangwan Fak ya zo(I have been going to school since before your father was born,you can't even compare yourself with me I was there when Mungo Park came)."

He resisted the urge to laugh because he knew the outcome instead,he cleared his throat suppressing his laughter but he wasn't fortunate enough .

"Ni ka ke yi wa gyaran murya? Karya nake ko? Toh wallahi sai Ado ya kara aure ki mutu in kin so.(So you mean I'm lying huh?U are even clearing your throat? To wallahi Ado must add a second wife)." She directed her last statement to Fatima Zara and with that, she stormed out of their so called room, she was there in search of Kolanut but that stupid brat annoyed her.
