Rain Pt.1

Ajmal POV

Eagle said " Can you please go to this BlueFace concert with me?"
I said " You know I don't listen to his music. So why do you want me to come so bad.?"
Eagle said " Because I would love for my friend slash brother to go to a concert with me. Plus you need to get out since Vion decide to break up with you. You've been a bit of a downer. And I hate when you are down because your no fun."
I said " Fine I'll go with you. I'm not going to enjoy myself."
He said " Yeah You will plus I got backstage pass and Morado is coming."
I said " Who paid for these tickets because I know your cheap ass didn't? And when are you going to ask Morado out?"
He said " My dad got them free because of his job. And I'll ask her out when the moments right. But right now it isn't right. She is a friend and I don't want to ruin our friendship. It would be to awkward."
I said " Well look at you. You have really grown up. I can't believe you want to actually be in a relationship with someone. You used to be like have sex and ghosting. You must really like her."
Eagle said " Yeah she is quite special and I don't want to ruin something that is wonderful. She maybe my wife. I just got to treat her right. And when I'm fully ready to commit I will ask her out."
I said " Dang that was deep and mature. Who are you because I was always the mature in this friendship. You must be a clone of Eagle because he wouldn't talk like that."
Eagle laughed and said " Naw I just grew up. I know the fuck and duck was getting old. Plus I was not on my shit."

I'm still in shock that this is my friend. The one person who I thought would never stop being a hoe. But he threw me through a loop.

Eagle said " We need to go to the mall because I need to get a new outfit for the concert and you do too."
I said " I have no one to impress so why should I stress looking good for someone. But you lucky I'm in the shopping mood. Otherwise you be going by yourself."

Eagle and I have been friends since he and I were 7 and fought each other at the park. It's actually a funny story.

Flashback Starts
The sun was burning every inch of my skin and I was playing basketball with kids from the neighborhood. My team was currently winning and Eagle team was getting mad. I had the ball and was dribbling about to take a shot when Eagle slap the ball to my face. I instantly snap and went into attack mode. I knocked him down and started punching him. He was trying to fight back but wasn't winning.

This boy named Franklin eventually pulled me off of him. And this older lady who knew my grandma grabbed me and Eagle. She took me and him to my grandma house. My grandma Rose don't play about fighting so I know I was already going to get a whooping. Once we got to my grandma house the lady dragged us to the porch. My grandma had been sitting there with her fan watching cars and people go by.

Lady said " Rosa Marie your grandson and this boy was at the park acting a mess. They was fighting each other honey. And I know you don't tolerate that fighting mess."
Grandma Rosa said " You was at that Ajmal Amir?"
I said " Yes grandma I was fighting because he hit me with the ball in my face."
Grandma Rosa said " I could give to flying birds. You know not to be in the streets fighting like a hoodlum. I went through that with your big cousins. That's why his ass is in a coma now. I will not tolerate no fighting so you And this boy make up."
I said " I'm sorry for putting my hands on you."
He said " I'm sorry hitting you with the ball. Friends."
I said "Friends"
