It was spring and I was one year older...
Our work on operation Auction Sweep earned all of us a promotion...
"Ginshi Shirazu, Saiko Yonebayashi. I promote you to rank 3 to rank 2 investigators" continued Washuu. "Miyuki Mikage, Mizuro Tamaki, Hanbeh Abara, Kuki Urie, [F/N] [L/N], Takeomi Kuroiwa, Tooru Mutsuki. You are all promoted to rank 1 investigators"
What was really surprising was Mutsi who jumped two ranks. Guess his contribution on gathering the information for the operation and going undercover helped him a lot.

"How's it going, rank 1 investigator Kuki Urie?" I chuckled when I saw him staying all alone in the hallways
"Please, stop" he rolled his eyes
"Don't be mean" I pouted
"(I'll try) Or what?" He asks, his uninterested expression plastered on his face
"Look who's coming" I whispered, not answering his question, turning my head slightly to be met by Takeomi Kuroiwa's figure as Kuki rolled his eyes again
"(Damned Kuroiwa)"
"I'll leave you two alone to talk--"
"Don't you even dare" he said, looking me dead in the eye
"Sheesh, okay" I said, leaning on the wall next to him
"Urie, [L/N]. Congratulations" said Kuroiwa with his usual unbothered look
"Thank you" I said, flashing a smile
"Thanks..." muttered Kuki, looking away
Poor Kuki... he can't stand even a second with this guy in the same room...

"Cheers!" The whole squad said in sync
"Yo, if any of you gets drunk, I'll shove you in the storage room" I chuckled
"Deal!" Said Shirazu and Saiko in the same time
"I have a feeling that Mutsi is going to get drunk first" laughed Saiko
"H-hey, that's not true..." replied Mutsuki, his face turning red in embarrassment
"Is there something you guys are thankful for?" Asked Sasaki
"What's this, Thanks giving?" I sassed
"I'm thankful for meeting all of you!" Smiled Saiko
"I'm thankful for the new quinque from Nutcracker's kagune" grinned Shirazu
"I-I'm thankful that my contribution on the Auction Sweep Operation helped us to solve the case" said Mutsuki, smiling
"I'm thankful for this opportunity to work with all of you" Sasaki said, giving a closed eyes smile
