CHAPTER FIVE

*Nat's POV*

I couldn't wait to get this day started. There was nothing I needed more than a day with my girl. As I stand in the kitchen doing my normal routine I was mentally throwing around so many ideas we could do today. But ultimately it's up to her. "Kaylee come get you breakfast baby." I yell upstairs after sitting her plate of vegemite toast on the table. Yes, my 3 year old loves vegemite toast. Guess she gets that from Cal also. I mentally roll my eyes before seeing my little girl walking down the stairs in her pink monkey pjs. "Good Morning baby." She rubs her tired little eyes mumbling, "Morning mommy. I'm hungry." I point to the tabel saying, "Your foods right there baby." She slowly makes her way to the table and I help her in the chair after setting my breakfast on the table. "So whatcha wanna do today love?" I ask sitting down across from her. I could tell shes thinking while taking a bite of her toast. "Can we go to the park mommy?" I smile while saying, "Of course we can baby. Anything you want."

After having our breakfast together I told Kaylee to go pick out an outfit while I get dressed and i'll help her right after. Kaylee and I looked  up the weather after breakfast and seen it was supposed to be really warm, like normal so I just went with a black long sleeved crop top, and some black Supreme spandex while styling my hair down with some curls. After slipping on my Vans I made my way to Kaylee's room to help get her dressed. While walking in her room I could see Kaylee did what I asked and placed a stripped dress, with a brown belt on her bed. "Aw good job Kay, this outfits really cute baby. Come on let's get you dressed." She hopped off her bed standing right in front of me right like I asked. After getting her dress on I walked to her closet getting her some boots that match exactly to the belt and slide them on her feet. "Do you want a necklace baby?" She looked around in her little jewelry box choosing a layered silver necklace with matching earrings.. "Alright sweetie, were almost done what about your hair. Do you want it down?Or up?" She looked up at me with her beautiful, brown eyes, "Down mommy." I took a brush and started brushing her hair on her left side of her head back and using a black hair clip to keep it in place. "Your so pretty mommy." I hear my little girl say to me after looking in the mirror at both of us. "Aw baby. No one's as pretty as my little girl." I lean down to kiss her head lightly. "Come on let's get to the park."

I've never seen my little girl so excited as we walk hand and hand to the park. There was a park right down the street from our house so i thought it would be an amazing idea to just walk. It was a nice day so why not. After walking for about five minutes we finally made it to the park and Kaylee had made it clear she wanted to swing first so when we got there I dropped our bag at the closest park bench around. "Mommy come push me!" Kaylee yells while jumping on the swing. "I'm coming honey."

After pushing her for about 20 minutes we ran around the park being silly, going down the slides and just trying to have the best time ever I decided to let Kaylee play with this nice, little boy she accidently ran into while playing tag. I sat on the park bench while still keeping a close eye on her. I reach into my bag to grab our water and taking a sip. But as I glanced back over to check on Kaylee, she nowhere to be seen. I immediately start freaking out while rushing around to find her. I hear her distant little giggle and turn back over to see she had run over to a couple to pet their chubby dog. I sigh and calm myself down and run over to them. "Kaylee Jones! You can't just run away like that! Mommy got so scared. Never do that again." I reach down to pull her arm up to get her away from the strangers dog. "You cant just pet random people's dogs baby!" She sighs and looks up at me with a little pout on her face. "But mommy-" I cut her off to apologize to the couple in front of us. "I'm so sorry! I wasn't-" But my words were quickly cut off after seeing no other than Luke Hemmings right in front of me holding the hand of the pretty woman next to him.

"Natalie?" I was speechless.
