Dianne's POV:
I walked into the room to see no one in there. I looked round a bit, trying to stay quiet. If this was all sort of some elaborate prank that Joe was trying to pull then i'm gonna be sooo pissed off with him. I turned round to see that the light in the bathroom was on. I slowly walked into the bathroom not thinking about what I would find...
As I looked into the bathroom, I saw the most horrific sight I've ever seen.
A large man was standing in the bathroom. The last man I would of expected to see in that room. Anthony. He looked angry, and had a psychopathic look in his eyes. But that wasn't it. His left hand was covered in blood. However, in his grip was the most heart breaking sight. Joe.
Joe was lying limp in Anthony't arms. Anthony was supporting his entire body and had a tight grip around Joe's neck with his forearm. Joe was unconscious. His eyes had rolled back leaving them white. The deep blue of his ocean eyes were no where to be seen, leaving me lost. His skin was white, and his forehead was bleeding significantly.
A: Long time no see Dianne
D: What have you done to him?
A: You should have listened to me Di. I did warn you. You never came back home after our phone call. We broke up and it looks like this ugly son of a bitch got what he deserved
D: What phone call?
A: Don't play dumb with me Dianne. So what is it about this anorexic prick you like anyway?
D: Don't talk about him like that. Now what do you want from me Anthony?
A: I don't need you anymore, but it seems to me like you have a decision to make. Either you can make right what you did wrong and come back to where you belong, or you can say goodbye to Joe.
I saw Joe's eyes flicker as he slowly regained consciousness. He looked at me in shock. His breathing was erratic, and he began to cry slightly. Looking at me with fear all across his face.
A: Look who's awake
Anthony said this sarcastically. I dreaded to think about what was going to happen next. I didn't register what Anthony did next, I was too busy trying to read Joe's face with an answer of what to do. I glanced back at Anthony as he reached into his back pocket and pulled something out.
I had to take a double take but I couldn't mistake it. A large pistol was tightly gripped in Anthony's hand. He slowly lifted it and pointed the end at Joe's head. I saw Joe flinch as the cold metal touched his skin. He breathed in heavily and gave me one more look.
A: Dianne. We're waiting for an answer here. If you don't make one within the next minute then i'll make it for you.
As he said this, he readied the gun, firming up his grip on the gun, and his grip on Joe.
I couldn't say anything. I was stuck. Frozen in time. I was taken out of this harsh moment by Joe's sweet voice reaching my ears.
"Dianne i'm fine. You know what I was going to do before I met you. You have made these past few weeks the best of my life, and you know that I love you. Just make the right decision. You know and I know that you can't go back to him. Let me go, to let yourself go. I won't blame you."
"Please. Just don't go back to him."
I didn't know what to do. Tears began to stream down my face and my whole world began to come crashing down. I plucked up the courage and spoke.
"Anthony you can't do this. You can't do this to him. He didn't leave you. I did. He didn't take me away from you. I left you and you need to get over this. The police could be coming and if I were you I think you should start running cos I would rather die then go back to you."
"Dianne. This isn't going to finish here. This game we're gonna play has only just begun. But for now I think you should turn around, cos this next bit isn't going to be pretty."
I stared blankly at the two of them. It all happened so quickly.
'BANG!!!!'
"JOE !!!!!!"
