This chapter is told in third person.

Alex smiled as he flickered Sam's flashlight. He was excited to see Sam later that day. He couldn't believe Sam came back to him.

Just as he hugged the flashlight, the door to the room opened. At first, Alex thought it was his beloved, but when the shadows unblurred, he saw Lucas and Olivia. He raised an eyebrow as he watched them crack the door and look around, until their eyes met.

"Hey!" Lucas said as he and Olivia rushed up to Alex. Alex flinched, taking a few steps back. He cowared down to the couple and said, "Please, don't hurt me." The two looked at each other in confusion. Lucas bent down and spoke softly to him.

"We are not here to hurt you." Lucas said. "We are on a mission to find my sister."

"Good luck, mate. Not many of us last in here. Experiment 1 is thriving, though."

Lucas and Olivia exchanged glances. They look back at Alex. "Experiment 1 is my sister!" Lucas exclaimed. Alex's eyes widened as he stood up and grasped the bars of his cage. "Star is your sister?!" Alex asked.

"Yes! I'm her brother, Lucas! I'm trying to take her back home! The Hawking came in and took her from me!"

"Gee, sorry about that, mate. Well, if you're looking for Star, you won't find her here."

"What?! Where did she go?!"

"The Hawks escorted her to Test Lab A."

Olivia has a cold expression on her face as she puts a hand on Lucas's shoulder.

"Lucas..." she said. "...we can't go out there. They could catch us."

"Well, Sam is coming in to see me for...uh, something important...and the others are outside working on hand combat. I can distract Sam for you, giving you some time to go in and save Star."

"Perfect! Thank you so much, Mr.?"

"Just call me Alex."

The robin and sparrow nod and rush over to some crates in a corner. There, they waited for Sam to walk in.
* * * * * *
After an hour of waiting, the big metal door opened. Sam walked into the room, slamming the door shut. He turned to Alex's cage and grinned seductively. He sped walked to his cage. Alex held his arm as Sam entered the cage. He turned towards Alex, who turned red.

"Hey there, Alex." Sam said, rubbing the back of his neck. "H-Hey, Sam." Alex replied. "So...how are you?! Heh heh. I see you kept your promise!" Alex turned to the wall.

"You know, it's been a while since I touched you...and...I mean, what if you don't like what you see? What if I screw up? What if..."

He never finished, because just then Sam grabbed his arm. When Alex turned around, Sam smashed his lips into his. This caught Alex by surprise, but he soon fell deep into the kiss and pushed Sam into the bars. They made out sloppily and loudly. Nobody could hear except for the avians in the corner.

Since The Hawking's leader was "distracted", Lucas made his way slowly to the door, listening to the groans from the two men. Olivia followed him, walking out of the door first. When Lucas slipped into the hallway, the door shut loudly.

A little too loudly.

Sam heard the door slam and parted from his lover. He started to turn towards the door as he said, "What the hell was that?" Alex didn't want Sam to know the avians were here, so he grabbed his face, turned it around, and smashed his lips to Sam's. Sam was stunned at first, but he soon melted as he shoved his hands up Alex's shirt.

Meanwhile, while things were getting hot and heavy in the cage room, Olivia and Lucas ran down the hallway, heading towards Experiment Room A. When they got there, Lucas threw his body towards the glass window, where he got a good view of his sister. Since this was the first time he had seen her since she got kidnapped, Lucas was almost brought to tears as a White Coat put a black metal collar around her neck. The White Coat took a couple steps back, then presses a button on a remote.

This sent electricity all throughout her body, causing her to collapse and black out. Lucas couldn't handle watching his sister suffer. Without hesitation, Lucas kicked the window in and jumped in the room, followed by Olivia.

Some of the White Coats stepped towards them, but the avians fought them off long enough to grab an unconscious Star. They make their way down a winding hall and almost to the exit. That's when Fern, Canto, and Axel encountered the thieves.

"Where do you think you're going, Starlow?" Canto yelled. Lucas glared at the team as he squeezed Star closer. "Move your fat asses, Hawks!" Olivia bursts. "You don't need her. She belongs with us." Fern glared at Olivia.

"Shut your fat mouth, bitch!" she yelled, pointing fiercely. "She is important when it comes to our studies!"

"What do you mean, slut?"

Fern balled up her fists and fumed.

"She is supposed to be the strongest, smartest, and toughest avian born to two others. How, we do not know. That is WHY we were told to steal her!"

"You blind fuck!" Lucas said, tearing up with a voice crack. "Can't you see? My sister is in pain! She is only fucking seven! I promised my parents that she would never come back here! Now I see why they don't want her here! They would be sad if they knew she is here, but there's a problem with that, isn't there?!"

The Hawks looked confused. "What the hell are you talking about, Starlow?" Canto asked.

"MY FUCKING PARENTS ARE DEAD BECAUSE OF YOU!"

Lucas couldn't hold it in any longer. He felt the warm tears fall down his face as The Hawks looked at each other with puzzled expressions. Fern stepped forward.

"Starlow, you idiot..." Fern says. "You don't understand. Your parents aren't..."

Just as she was about to finish her sentence, a strange object fell between the two separate groups. Tick, tick, tick. Oh, God.

It was a bomb. The Big Surprise.
