This chapter is narrated by Lucas Starlow.

Around dawn the next day, we made it. I saw the big letters painted with scratchy black paint on the side of the building. "The Lab". It gave me chills just looking at the name of this place.

We landed near the edge of the forest surrounding the building. There were guards on every corner of the facility. How were we supposed to get inside?

"Damn it." I whispered. "There are guards fully securing the place. How are we supposed to get inside?" "Well, we will just have to wait until a few of them leave from that area over there." Olivia replied, pointing to a far corner with three guards surrounding a hole. Huh. So she wasn't lying about her escape.

"That's the hole my father used to help me escape. If we crawl through it, the guards won't see us, and we can quickly get into the Lab and save Star."

"Perfect. We just have to wait until the guards leave."

We nodded in agreement and watched for the guards to leave.
                * * *                     * * *
I sat with my head in my hands as we watched the guards march back and forth. I yawned and stretched. Olivia looked over at me with a smile as she poured a cup of coffee from a thermos and held it out to me. "I know you're tired." she said. "Drink some of this. It's caramel coffee. You need the sugar." I looked at her and grin as I take it and sip.

"You know, you didn't have to come with me." I said to her as she drank some coffee. She pauses before looking at me with a smile. "It's okay!" she said. "You're my best friend! And I so is Star! I would do anything for you guys!" She looked down and giggled. "I guess you could say...that I love you two."

"I know you do, Liv. And...I love you, too."

Olivia looked up at me with a gleam in her eye. I put my forehead onto hers and look into her eyes. She chuckles and turns red. I put my arms around her body and pull her in for a kiss...

"THEY'RE MOVING!" she yelled, jumping up. She jumps over me and looks through the bushes. I follow her lead and peer out of the bushes. All the guards went into the building after a melody played over the loudspeaker. When the last guard entered the Lab, I jumped up and grabbed Olivia's hand.

We flew over to the hole in the fence. I lifted it up so she could slide underneath. She slipped through the hole and to the other side with ease. Me, on the other hand, did not. My wing got caught in the fence lining. I eventually made it to the other side with a struggle, thanks to Olivia.

"The door over there is always unlocked." Olivia said, pointing to a large metal door at the end of the building. I nod and take her hand, dashing towards the door. I opened it and lead her inside. As I tried to get a sense of my surroundings, we heard voices. They seem to be pretty out of range, but I can tell who it was. The Hawking.

"Liv, where are we?" I whisper. "The Hawking's bedroom." she replied. "They always keep their fire door unlocked."

"Where are we supposed to hide?!" I said, raising my voice a tad. Olivia contemplated, then got an idea. "Let's use the closet!" she suggested. Anything was better than being out in the open. I ran to the small wooden closet and motioned for Olivia to follow. She slipped inside first, the I squeezed in. As the door to the closet shut, the bedroom door opened. The Hawking, led by Fern, walked in laughing as they sat on their bed.

"Whew! Today was hectic!" Fern said, wiping her head with the small white towel in her hand.

"We should take a break." Axel replied, standing up. He moved towards the small closet. I put my hand over Olivia's mouth as I watched him move closer. Just then, Canto's voice was heard.

"Come on, Axe. We're going to hit the showers. You coming?"

Axel looked back at Canto. "Hell yeah!" Axel exclaimed. He rushed out of the room, shutting the door hard on his way out.

I let out a sigh of relief. Just then, I heard Olivia mumble. I realized I still had my hand on her mouth, and I took it off. She looked at me with somewhat of a gleam in her eyes. I broke a sweat as she stared into my soul.

"Lucas..." she said slowly. "...you do realize...we are in a closet...right?" I swallowed hard as I scratched the back of my neck and chuckle nervously.

"Y-Yeah..." I replied. "...what about it?"

"Well, do you know what they do in closets?"

"Find something to wear?"

She giggled at my reply.

"I mean couple wise, dummy."

Oh, shit.

"Y-You mean...?" I started to say. She nodded and grinned as she slid three of her fingers into my pant pockets. I moved my hand down on top of hers. She had the most beautiful hands.

"Olivia..." I ask. "Are you sure you're ready." She took her arms and wrapped them around my neck, running her fingers through my hair.

"With you, I'm ready for anything." she whispered.

I really wanted to. I really did. I wanted to hold her til the Ice Age came again, I wanted to kiss her til Vikings came again, I wanted to be in this closet with her til the End came. I'll just come out and say it.

I wanted to fuck the shit out of her.

I licked my lips as I motioned towards her. She moved backwards, and soon hit a wall. I stood over her, watching her smile and blush. I put my hands on her shoulders as we stare into each other's eyes. She stood on her tiptoes as she leaned in. I felt her lips touch mine, and I couldn't contain myself anymore.

We started to become in rhythm, sloppily exchanging tongues. My hands slithered from her shoulders to her waist, and she tugged lightly on my hair as I moved from her lips to her neck. I heared her moan softly as she said my name. "Lucas..."

That was enough to turn me on.

I lifted my face from her neck and played with one of the buttons on her dress. "Can we really do this here?" I said. "Even though there isn't anyone in here, we can't be loud." Olivia nodded. She tackled me, causing me to fall on my back. She grinned and smashed her lips into mine. She grabbed a hold of my face, and I rested my hands on her back. Our tongues intertwined as we sat like this for a while.

At one point, she tugged at my shirt, signalling for me to take it off. I probably would have if an announcement didn't come over the intercom.

"Now coming down the East Hallway, Experiment 1 assisted by Scientist Albert Hall."

I sat up, disconnecting to Olivia. I'm pretty sure she heard it, too.

She jumped up and opened the closet door. She held her ha d out to me, and I gladly took it. She helped me up and we both ran for the door. I opened it and led the way as we made a mad dash down the hall.

We were close to saving Star.
