Y/N POV

I look to Corl who has grabbed the jar with Denis's name on it. One eye is missing. Are my eyes playing tricks on me? I really hope they are because this could be a major problem and we have less than 10 minutes remaining. However, I realize they aren't when I look at Corl and Elijah. Their eyes widen.

Corl looks up from the jar, exchanging looks with me and Elijah.

"What do we do now?" He asks.

"I'm not sure..," Elijah replies.

They look to me in hopes of an idea.

"Oh.. I don't know either..," I answer, disappointed in myself that I have nothing.

Suddenly, I hear footsteps clamor into the hallway. All of a sudden, Denis appears at the entrance of the room. He isn't walking straight and he appears to be attacking himself.

He almost tramples Alex and Sub, who were still collapsed on the floor, but Corl quickly swipes them out of the way. I don't know what's happening, but I have to do something.

I hurry over to Denis and grasp him before he breaks anything. He screams. For some reason, when he screamed, his voice cracked and it would turn into a monster-like shriek, but then turn back into his normal voice.

He's incredibly difficult to restrain. Elijah rushes over to me to help me restrain Denis from the front. He stops in front of him. I rush to the front of him too. He has one black eye and one normal eye. I can see the pain in them.

I look at Elijah and I'm able to tell that he's both confused and surprised by how this happened based on his facial expression. However, it seems that he knows what he needs to do and goes back to restraining him. I do the same. I peek at the watch on Elijah's wrist.

We only have five minutes left. I hear Corl's footsteps as he rushes into the hallway. Where is he going?
