Y/N POV

Suddenly, he bursts to life, gasping for air as his eyes snap open. Startled, I flinch and jump back. I then realize that he's not evil anymore.

"Elijah, it's me," I try to calm him once I've calmed myself.

"Where are we?" he asks in concern.

Not knowing how much to explain, I ask him what he remembers.

"What do you remember?"

He runs his hands through his hair and tries to think. He sits their blankly with his eyebrows squinted. After a while, he seems to remember something.

"I remember... I was captured by... dolls! Where did you come from? Were you in on this?" he asks, questioning me.

"No, I'm on your side," I answer.

"How do I know that? What if you're tricking me?" he asks.

I sigh.

"Don't you trust me?" I ask in a calm voice.

"... Yeah..," he confesses.

"I'm sorry..," he apologizes.

"It's ok. I just need you to trust and listen to me because we don't have much time," I accept and move on.

"Ok.. Can you let me out of these locks first though?" he pleads.

"Oh, yeah," I answer, undoing the locks.

I continue to explain what happened, trying to include as much detail in as little time as possible. While I look at him, I notice it looks like he's starting remember more and more.

Once I finish, he's silent for a moment. Then, he speaks again.

"O... K..," he says, soaking in all of the sudden knowledge.

"What time is it now?" he asks.

I look at the watch.

11:16

Crap.

I show him the time.

"We have to hurry," I conclude.

"Yeah..," he agrees.

We climb into the cramming hallway of the room and into the maze again

"I'll go this way," he claims, pointing to a hallway on the right.

"Alright, then I'll go left," I conclude.

"Ok, bye!" he says as we split off in our different directions.

"Bye!" I say back, only barely seeing him now.

We split off. His smile makes my heart stop.
