Chapter 6

"Nat!" Wanda called from the living to Natasha who was currently in the backyard writing something on a piece of paper, she stood up left her stuff on the chair she headed inside the house to where Wanda was.

"What happened?" she asked heading to her.

"There's a letter from Peggy," Wanda waved the letter as the girls took a seat on the sofa, Wanda opened the letter to read it aloud.

Dear Natasha and Wanda,

Hopefully, when you're reading this you're sat down, I don't wanna see either of you with bruises when I see you.

We recently had a mission with the boy we captured in front of your house, it was to infiltrate a base, all went smoothly, turns out the boys of really good use.

But that's not the sole reason I've written to you, I am requesting the presence of you two in our base by next week.

We've found something and it'd be best if the two of you were here to discuss it.

"Found something?" Natasha wondered, "Guess we're going to an army base."

"Is it safe?" Wanda asked worriedly.

Natasha shrugged, "Steve, Bucky, Pietro, Peggy, Alice, everybody's gonna be there, I'm sure they wouldn't call us there if it wasn't safe."

Wanda nodded, "let's get packing."

Getting out of the cab, Natasha and Wanda looked around the base, sure enough, the soldiers had started to notice two unknown women on the base and some were starting to even walk up to them.

"Walk up to them with the intention of anything but a small hello and you'll be sparring with me," said a voice from the back of the soldiers which had them dispersing away at the speed of light.

Natasha and Wanda smiled as Alice skipped to them pulling both of them in a hug, the women smiled holding Alice close to them.

Alice pulled away from the hug and immediately headed to the driver to instruct him what to do with their bags, before turning to them, Natasha didn't miss the tears at the corner of her eyes, while she ducked around them.

"Milaya, what's wrong?" Natasha asked in Russian, she and Alice had talked to each other in Russian on many occasions, and it was their thing to not let anyone in on their talk, "nothing I'm just happy to see you."

Natasha didn't believe her but she didn't pry, she and Wanda started to follow Alice through the camp as she told them about whatever they stumbled across, she was like an excited little puppy right now.

"Right, Collins!" she called out, jogging a boy who they'd recognized as the boy from earlier, who was detained from their house, "the owners of the house you trespassed," she replied, he rolled his eyes at her, politely shaking Natasha and Wanda's hand.

"I apologize if my showing up had caused any discomfort, that was never my intent," he apologized, the two girls nodded at his words, "You're fine."

Alice nodded, "Yes, and dismissed, get back to your training," she turned to him.

Chase frowned at her, "I've been training for the past two hours, give me a break," this past week, Chase and Alice had started bickering, even over the tiniest thing, Chase had gone on to prove his loyalty to the camp and to the cause which had gained him a little of 1% of trust of everybody, even Peggy Carter, that was surprising, so it was natural for the two teens to start bickering with each other, but considering Alice was stronger than him physically, she got her way.
