"Lexa?!
"My room!"Alice grinned running up the stairs to her friend's room, she'd been back home on a brief vacation and had been on an outing with her family the whole day promising Alexa to spend the night with her.
"Hi!" Alice exclaimed jumping on the bed that Alexa occupied tackling her in a tight hug. Alexa laughed loudly as Alice lay on top of her, her hands around her neck.
"Hi, monkey," Alexa laughed rubbing her back, "You good?"
Alice hummed sitting up, her legs on either side of Alexa's legs, "How have you been?"
Alexa hummed playing with the hem of Alice's shirt, "Good, I've missed you."
Alice smiled leaning forward for a hug, "I missed you too," Alice placed a small kiss on her shoulder before getting off of her lap, and cuddling to her side.
"What do you want to do?" Alexa asked as she pulled a blanket over the two, it was already late so they weren't going out for a walk.
Alice shrugged, "Read to me? I'm tired."
Alexa smiled nodding picking up the book the both of them had started reading.
Alice snuggled close to Alexa as she started reading, smiling at the dramatic pauses and voice changes she did as she went through the chapter, she couldn't help but stare at her friend. The friend that's caused an internal battle inside of her, a fire to burn when near, she couldn't figure out what was happening or why, she just longed for that feeling that warmth.
Alice sighed looking away from Alexa and focusing on the page in front of her, her eyes were droopy, and she involuntarily snuggled close to Alexa tightening her hold on her arm.
Alexa noticed Alice getting sleepy, she carefully kept the book aside adjusting the blanket, "Tired?" she asked pushing a strand of her hair out of her face, Alice nodded looking up at Alexa, those hazel eyes stared back into hers, and Alexa couldn't help focus on her eyes, those were one of her favorite features of Alice.
Alice felt her eyes drift down to Alexa's lips, those pink plump lips had her weak in her knees whenever Alexa smiled, the control those lips had on her was embarrassing enough.
As if Alice's body moved on its own, she felt herself lean up closing the gap between them, capturing Alexa's lips with her own. Alice felt Alexa tense and that snapped her back.
"Shit, I am so sorry," Alice began to apologize, she couldn't believe she'd done that, "I shouldn't have-"
Alexa's mind went blank as she leaned forward shutting up a rambling Alice with a kiss, her hands went into Alice's hair as she slowly climbed onto Alice, she felt Alice hold her waist, her thumb caressing that little window of skin between her shirt and pyjamas. Alexa shivered as Alice sat up, her hands circling her waist and pulling her closer.
Alice began to slide her arm into Alexa's shirt, her hand cold to touch but it was soothing for Alexa, she smiled against Alice's lips softly tugging at her hair-
"Alex! We're home!"
Alexa jumped back, jumping off of Alice's lap she picked up the book just as the two made themselves presentable as her parents knocked and entered her room.
"Hi girls...
"So you kissed Alexa?" Chase asked everything that Alice had told him running through his mind.
Alice nodded.
"And she kissed you back?"
Alice nodded, chewing on her bottom lips.
