The gunshots rang past her and did nothing to unwaver her attention from her goal. Schimdt's plane.
Alice shot a HYDRA soldier before making a pathway to run to the plane, Steve bet her to it.
"No no no," Alice muttered running as fast as she could to catch up with Steve, she had to make sure Steve didn't get on that plane, Natasha couldn't lose her husband not this soon.
"Steve!" Alice yelled catching up to him, "Schimdt's getting away!" Steve informed as the plane gained speed, "We need to stop him!" Before Alice could tell him to stop, Colonel rolled up beside them in Schimdt's car offering them a ride to the plane.
Steve jumped in pulling Alice in without a second thought. Peggy already present in the car.
"We take down Schidmt and land the plane back, okay?" Steve said a brief plan of action, Alice nodded, "I'll do that, you help here." Steve shook his head, "You'll need my help!" He yelled over the plane's engines.
"Alice we got this covered!" Peggy yelled from beside her, "Go get that bastard!"

Alice panted as she watched the tesseract melt the plane's floor and fall into Antarctica, none of the siblings made a move to stop it, fearing what happened to Schmidt would happen to them.
"I'll land the plane," Steve threw his helmet to the side getting on the pilot's seat, he had enough knowledge to probably land the plane.
Alice slid down on the floor near the control panel, her lips quivering as the realization hit her, it was true and she couldn't prevent Steve from dying. She barely managed to keep in a sob, "We can't."
Steve didn't register what Alice had said, he tried to switch off the autopilot but to no avail, the plane was heading for New York, bombs hot. He turned back to look at Alice who was crying softly and shaking her head, she knew what needed to be done.
"Damn it!" Steve sighed just as the communication line went online.
"Captain Rogers, do you read me?" came Junior Juniper's voice which was quickly replaced by a worried Peggy.
"Steve! Are you alright? Is Ally alright?" Peggy asked her hands holding the edge of the panel in anticipation.
"We're alright," Steve replied, watching as the frozen water flew past them, the sunset giving it an orange glow. The one that usually calmed him became one of his nightmares in an instant.
"Schmidt's dead," Steve informed, pulling out his compass from his pocket that had Natasha's picture fit in it, he smiled down at the picture one last time before safely putting it back in his pocket.
"What about the plane?" Peggy asked, "That's a little tougher to explain," Steve replied still trying to gain manual control of the plane's trajectory, there was no progress in that.
"Give me your coordinates, and I'll find a safe spot to land," Peggy urged, her voice filled with urgency and worry.
"It's not going to be a safe landing," Steve informed looking at Alice one more time before taking hold of the wheel, "I'll have to force it down."
"I'll get Howard on the line! He'll know what to do," Peggy suggested, she did not want to take that plan into action.
"There's not enough time, this thing is moving fast and headed towards New York."
"Please don't do this," Peggy begged, her voice breaking, "We have time, we can figure it out."
"Right now we're in the middle of nowhere," Steve reasoned, "If we wait a little longer, a lot of people are going to die."
