Divergent: No War

Chapter 13

Tris P.O.V.

Tobias and I are on our way to the dining hall with Tara when Christina comes up to us, takes Tara from me, gives her to Tobias and drags me to the pit.

"Hello to you too." I say sarcastically as I get dragged.

"Seriously Christina I can walk myself." I complain but she just keeps dragging me until we reach her apartment and then she turns to face me.

"Tris I need your advise." She says looking defeated.

"Oh don't worry your clothes look great but the shoes kinda don't match your shirt." I tell her pointing to her shoes.

"Really I thought they looked - sorry we are getting off topic. I didn't come to ask you for fashion advise because well have you looked at your closet but on a serious note... I'm late." She says nervously.

It takes me a minute to realize what she is saying.

"Oh my god have you taken the test?" I ask her not wanting to get excited over nothing.

"Ya and they came out positive." She still looks nervous.

"Chris that's great... Why do you look nervous? Have you told Will yet?" I get serious because its nerve wrecking thinking that being pregnant can ruin your relationship.

"No I haven't told him. Should I tell him or should I wait?" She asks looking scared.

"You should tell him. Love shouldn't be conditional and if this baby changes those conditions then he better pack his bags because if he is really like that then he doesn't deserve you." I say confidently because I know how she feels.

She smiles and we walk into the dining hall. We sit down, me next to Tobias and Christina next to Will. I see her whisper something in his ear and he smiles, stands up and twirls her around. Everyone looks at him like he just ate some Amity bread.

"Should we tell them?" Christina asks obviously relieved that he was happy.

"Yes. Everyone we are having a baby!" He smiles.

Everyone whoops and cheers and nobody really looks our way because this is Dauntless after all. Even Tara gives a smile and a cute little giggle.

After breakfast I head home with Tara because I'm allowed time off to bond. As we walk down the hallways I wave to the cameras knowing full well Tobias is watching me, making sure we get home safely.

I get home and Tara and I snuggle up on the couch to watch Disney movies. (A/N : I just got back from Disneyland so I had to do that)

Sometimes I wonder if my life would have been this perfect if I had chosen Abnegation.

OMG you guys are amazing!! so I'm so sorry I haven't updated in FOURever!!!! I'll try to update weekend and whenever I have time!!!
