At the dance studio...

"I don't get why you brought me here," Johnny looked around and saw Haechan, Mark, Jaemin, Jeno, Renjun, Jisung and Chenle sitting on the wooden floor. As he was being dragged by Ten, he slumped down next to the "children", still extremely confused. "I didn't know you liked dancing."

Ten hit his shoulder lightly. "Bitch, I LOOOVE dancing. I've just never told you."

Since Ten was till stressed about being jobless, he was wearing ordinary clothes for an adult male. Dance clothes more specifically. Having danced practically all his life before, Ten knew exactly what he felt comfortable in.

After talking a bit, Mark began his dance practice with the guys, Haechan sitting out along with Johnny and Ten. Obviously, Mark was still healing so he was just watching the other guys dance as well as doing some light dancing as well. Whilst they watched them dance, Ten felt that spark in him again. He felt that sudden urge to dance like he once did. But not as hard, he was still recovering.

Not wanting to sit down any longer, he stood up and made his way to the centre of the studio, where the younger boys sat down in front of the mirror to watch. Haechan dropped his crutches and waved his arms in the air like a die hard K-pop fan at a K-pop concert.

"WAAAAAAAH TEN YOU'RE SO COOL!" Haechan's screaming also provoked Chenle's screaming and everyone else's screaming, except for Johnny.

"Put on Growl by exo. I'm feeling that song right now," Ten requested, Mark putting the song on the speakers. He got into position and as soon as the music started, he moved swiftly to the beat, dancing almost good as the exo members themselves. The only reason he couldn't dance as good as them was because he had an injury to deal with. Without that, he could have stolen exo's career with dancing alone.

His dancing was strong and powerful but also relaxed and elegant simultaneously. His facial expressions gave the dance that spark which made it all the more exciting. Each swift movement was graceful but was also hard hitting. Ten's moves were filled with emotion even in the laid back and up beat song.

In the small audience, the "children" were cheering and applauding as if they were seeing their idols up close. Johnny, on the other hand, was just staring in awe and in pure amazement from the boy's smooth dance style. He had never seen such a charismatic side to Ten before. It was... Mesmerising.

Once the song ended, everyone cheered his name, sounding out numerous 'waaaaaaahs' and Mark's 'Oh Mai Gaahhhds'. Even Haechan was hopping out of his seat from how amazing it was. Yet, Johnny was still in a state of shock. He couldn't help but think "Why was all this talent wasted to become a fashion designer?"

Shrugging it off, Johnny ran up to Ten and gave him a cozy embrace, cherishing every second. He then pecked his nose, his forehead, his cheeks and a prolonged kiss on the lips. "That was f u c k i n g sexy."

"Keep it in your pants, hyung!" Haechan shouted from his seat, Mark having to come up and slap his shoulder. "Yowch! Let me live. They are just as cute a couple as us like why aren't you that touchy with me?"

Seeing Haechan pout, Mark immediately walked up to sit next to him and with a hand, he wiped the hair away from Haechan's ear. "I'll make sure you're satisfied when we get home."

"But I wanna be satisfied noooow!" Haechan whined, Mark only smirking more.

"Whiny, just the way I like it."

"Now you're being gross," Chenle pointed and looked away, "I need to shield my innocent eyes!"

Everyone laughed it off the rest of the practice, playing some random dances, 2x speed dances, roller coaster dances and whatnot. They even put on random songs, particularly songs with ridiculous high notes, and tore out their vocal chords trying to sing them. Unfortunately, the time the practice finished came way too soon and they all left to their homes.

"I'm so excited to get some real sleep these days like I feel like crap 24 hours a week," Haechan sighed.

"Don't you have a night shift though?"

"Oh, Johnny. Your inspiration for me to get a new job changed me. I'm actually going to make a dramatic exit from that fucking office and work with this daddy right here-"

Mark interrupted mid-sentence, "Woah woah woah woah, pet names laaater."

Johnny laughed at the couple's interaction. "I'd never see the day that my straight best friend was gayer than me."

"Shut the fuck up you coward. I bet you're still too nervous to get in his pants," Mark's roast caused everyone to crack up.

"Hey," Ten broke the fits of laughter, "I'll take care of that."

"You'll wHaT?" Johnny protested.

Before anything else could start, Haechan broke the two apart and spoke. "Settle it indoors please. That's when all the magic happe- OW. The fuck mark?!"

"Get used to it, babe."

The four of them walked home in barrels of genuine laughter. They then split to go to their houses and get ready to sleep the night away (*insert twice song*). Ten also decided to think about his career when his head hit the pillow.

He loved dancing as much as the next person. It was his sole passion in life. It was parental pressure that told him that dancing wouldn't get you anywhere, so he gave up. He gave up dancing and stuck to something more productive but also creative, exhibit A; designing expensive clothes. It was that route which got him into cross dressing which kept him happy through the tough hours of making clothes. It became who he was, until then.

Maybe dancing could be the change. What if he based his career solely on his interests? It was worth the change, he thought. And my oh my, was he right.
