Alex's POV
I'm so confused about what is happening, I mean in the hospital I have learned the following:
-Jordan had a sister named Lily
- Lily was killed by Travis and his gang
-Travis was Lily's boyfriend
-Blake is Travis' adopted brother
-Jordan is depressed and suicidal (I already knew part of that)
-Jordan witnessed her sister's death
Dang, I had no idea that Jordan's life was so messed up. I just wish I had approached her sooner, like, back in sixth grade sooner. Maybe if I had, things wouldn't be so fucked up right now.
Anyways, right now Jordan and I are in the far back seat of a black van while Travis is driving with Blake in the passenger seat and three other people who I'm guessing is Jake, Joe, and Kells.
I look over at Jordan, who is leaning her head on the window since she can't lean on her left hand. Either way, she looked so beautiful. Her dark hair cascading down her shoulders, her pale skin looked so bright when the car went into the sunlight and her eyes. Her beautiful blue eyes that I could stare into all day, every day if she allowed me to.
Suddenly I was snapped out of staring and my thoughts by either Jake or Joe, "So, what's your name? We already know pretty much everything about her, so tell us about you."
"Ummm, I'm Alex Pierce. I'm 18, I'm a senior at my high school, I play baseball and I'm on the track and field team. What else do you want to know?"
"Well, what is your family life like? I mean, not to be rude or anything but you look like the type of guy that can get away with anything at home." Jake or Joe said.
I sighed, "I mean if I were to do something bad, like get arrested or something, my parents would get a phone call but it's not like they'd come to bail me out. They both are workaholics and they are pretty much never home so I can do whatever," I paused, "By the way, this may seem rude, but are you, Jake or Joe?"
He laughed, "It's fine, I'm Joe and that's Jake. Jake is quieter and stealthier, mainly because he deals with all the weapons and such. Me on the other hand, I specialize in communications. Then over there, is the beautiful Kelly, but she goes by Kells. She specializes in fighting stuff and all that jazz...She's also my girlfriend so don't be getting any ideas."
The dark skinned woman turned towards Joe, from what I could see, she has bright green eyes and dark brown hair. Since she was wearing a hoodie I couldn't really tell, "Really Joe, first of all, it's called martial arts. And second, and for the millionth time, I am not your girlfriend."
I watched as Joe turned towards her, his slightly long blonde hair moved with is head and his dark green eyes widen as he hears this, "Oh come on Kells, don't make me sound so desperate."
I tuned them out as I turned to look at Jake, he had light brown hair and pale skin. I couldn't see his eyes because one, he was facing the other way, and two, he had his eyes closed.
I sighed and closed my eyes when I suddenly felt a weight on my shoulder. I turned and saw Jordan sleeping, I felt my face and neck heat up. I also heard a snicker from the middle row and knew that it was Joe. I ignored him and rested my head on top of hers and fell asleep.
~Time Skip~
I was woken up by the most unpleasant noise ever...Joe singing Chandelier by Sia. I'm pretty sure I'm one step closer to being deaf thanks to him, plus we weren't even at the so-called "base" yet. I sighed and looked at Jordan, who had moved from leaning on my shoulder to laying in my lap.
