Jordan POV
I see Alex in the distance, he's walking towards a light...away from me.
"Alex?" I asked.
He didn't turn around. He just kept walking.
"Alex!" I yell, hoping he would turn to look at me.
He doesn't.
"Alex, don't leave me! Please!" I yell, I collapse onto my knees. Tears pouring out of my eyes, sobbing as my body shakes.
Then as if it was whispered, I hear, "Don't worry Jordan, I won't leave you."
I look up and there he is, turned around and staring into my eyes. They're filled with so much love and admiration, it leaves me breathless. Suddenly, before I know it...there he is. Right in front of me, I feel his warm hands cupping my face as he uses his thumb to wipe away my tears.
"I will never leave you Jordan," Alex whispers, a warm feeling engulfs my face, neck, and body.
My eyes water even more as I wrap my arms around him as I sob into his shirt. I don't even know why I'm being so emotional right now, I never act like this. Especially in front of Alex.
Just as I was about to pull away, Alex wraps his arms around me and starts rubbing comforting circles on my back. I feel my bottom lip quiver, I nuzzle my face into where Alex's shoulder and neck meet, and slowly calm down. Though I would never admit it, I loved the feeling I was feeling at the moment.
I don't know how long we stayed in that position, but I enjoyed every second of it. I loved the way Alex was holding me. Suddenly, Alex pulled back and looked into my eyes. He leaned closer, his lips looked so tempting. As he kept leaning, he whispered something so soft I didn't hear him the first time. I leaned in closer as he whispered, "Jordan, it's time to wake up."
I pulled back and looked at him, "What?"
He said it again, but this time it seemed like it was a lot louder, "Jordan, you need to wake up, you'll miss breakfast."
Suddenly, I jolted up and crashed heads with someone. I laid back down and rubbed my head as the other person and I groaned. I looked up and saw Alex sitting on the edge of the bed, his clothes disheveled and he had bed hair--which looked really good on him.
"Good morning sleeping beauty," Alex looked up and smiled, still rubbing his head.
I felt my cheeks warm and quickly hide my face under the sheets, I have no idea what is happening to me. Am I getting sick? That would explain my weird dream and my warming cheeks.
"Jordan? Are you okay? Does your head hurt?" I felt the bed shift, signaling that Alex had moved onto the bed, "Jordan, say something please, I need to make sure you're okay."
I lower the sheets just below my eyes, still covering my cheeks. I see Alex leaning over my body, leaning towards my face. His green eyes filled with worry, "Jordan?"
I whispered, "Good morning, Alex."
A relieved smile made its way across Alex's face, "Good morning, do you want to go eat breakfast?"
I nodded slightly, waiting for him to move so I can get up. He realizes that he needs to move and slowly moves towards the end of the bed.
"Kells and Travis made some pancakes with a fruit salad," Alex told me.
"Wait, what time is it?" I asked realizing I fell asleep during the middle of the ride here.
Alex looked at his phone, "It's about ten in the morning. You slept for the rest of yesterday."
