Author note: I have no excuse for my procrastination :< . This is very bad indeed... And thank you for reading throughout this Story of mine which is pretty cliche (ISEKAI) :v . FGO has pretty much taken over... I'm also have been chatting in a discord server for several months now, they're good people that why I stayed there pretty much everytime now lol... For now please enjoy this chapter :>
The Story:
We bought a lot of food stock, spices, herbs, and utensils, and we also ends up buying a bag too to carry all this stuff that we had bought earlier. We bought all of them separately since we bought a lot, and we have to do a few trip back so that we won't be carrying a lot of stuff in the end.
After we carefully put all the stuff inside the bag, I used the bath first to clean myself, and then Haru next. We slept the day off and wake up the next morning to visit Haru's relative. We joined a carriage that was going to Haru's village daily for trading. We offered them protection instead of money, even though we have a lot… but they gladly accept the offer.
So we left the city with the carriage. As expected this isn't a 1 day trip to there… Luckily i brought over some ingredients for ourselves on this journey. So we stopped 2 times, one for lunch and the second one is for dinner and sleeping. There's only Haru, the Carriage owner, me and his assistant, we take turn on the look out so the rest could take a rest.
The night ends and we resume the trip to the village, we arrived on a broad daylight, which the clock that's on my vision said it's 12pm.
As we enters the village, the residents greets the carriage owner in a relax tone like they already know each other.
Someone from the side was talking to the owner while moving to see what's inside the carriage, “what goods are you bringing today Jason?” The unknown man said while his voice moved closer to the back of the carriage.
To his surprise as he looked inside, there were 2 people. He directly looked at Haru, “if it isn't Haru… been 1 year since you left to be an adventurer.” He said.
“Uncle, I'm back to Visit Grandma” she paused, “H-How is she doing Uncle?” Haru asked reluctantly.
“She… just recently got bedridden, her leg couldn't hold her weight anymore…” his face was glum while telling Haru the news.
Haru immediately left the carriage and goes off to see her grandmother. She left me alone here… Oh well, can't complain about family matters…
“I'm sorry that she left immediately, you're her companion right?” he asked.
“Ah… yes” I replied.
“She was the closest to our Mother so, hearing that was a pretty bad news for her.” He said.
“That's fine, and it's also been a year since she hasn't seen her, she probably missed her a lot.” I replied.
“How about you look around this Village first, since I know she would take a lot of time speaking to Mother” The man said, “Oh and, my name is Grifdson this Village chief, Welcome to our humble abode.” He continued.
“Thank yo, I'm Eri, Haru's companion” I replied.
“You're a succubus right?” Grifdson asked.
“Yes, I can't hide it to your people tribe, well Haru also had pointed that out on our first meeting.” I replied.
“Well our nose are pretty Excellent to detect difference between race, and as long as Haru trust you, we will trust you… well for now” He said.
