Chapter 7
"Welcome to Nando's, may I take your order?" a waitress said to us.
"Chicken!" Niall yelled.
"Drinks?" she asked.
"Water for everyone." Niall said.
The waitress finished writing on the pad and took the menus.
"Hey, Megan!" Lou yelled even though he was right next to me.
"Hey, Lou!" I mocked.
He made a straight face. "What part of America are you from?" What a good way to start the converstation.
"Rosemont." I replied.
"What the bloddy hell is Rosemont?" Harry interupted.
"It's one of the towns in Sacramento, California."
"Oh my god! We love California! LA is amazing." Lou said.
"Really? I never went. I went to Palm Springs, though. My great grandpa lives there. He's 95." I bragged as I took a sip from the cup of water the waitress just handed me.
The boys looked at me funny except Niall. He just stared at me, hoping to get the truth out of me. I stood up with a squeak of my chair. "Excuse me." I said, as I left to the restroom.
When I left the restroom, Niall was standing at the door, waiting. "What the hell are you doing Ni?" I asked.
"You're lieing to me, Megan."
I nodded. "I know."
"Why cant you tell me the truth?"
"Because I....I just....I just dont want you to know. It was horrid." I pressed my left thumb on my bruise, not caring about the pain.
"Well, I want you to tell me everything right now."
"No! Ive known you for what? 2 hours?" I shook my head. "I will tell you when Im ready." With that, I walked away back to my seat.

We hopped into the black van, once more, to go back home; or my dad's home. This place would never be my home.
"Megan." Harry said as I was silent, looking at the picture of my mom and I just before I left.
I wiped a tear from my face and put my phone in my pocket. "What?" I finally said.
"What's wrong, love?" Lou asked.
Niall stared at me, still hoping I would say something about my past life. "Nothing!" and I flashed a smile with my purple braces showing.
"It's ok, Megan. You can tell us anything." Harry said. Lou nodded in agreement with Haz.
"Thanks, but there is seriously Nothing wrong." I lied. There was so much going wrong. We soon pulled up in front of the house. "Thanks for lunch guys!" I shouted, jumping out of the car.
"Come over whenever!" Lou yelled to me.
"Thanks Superman!" I pulled out my key and walked inside the cool house. The cold air ran across my face. I ran up the stairs to my room and shut the door.
I grabbed my laptop and turned it on. While it loaded, I unzipped all my bags and opened all my dresser drawers. I went over to my laptop and blasted One Direction. I didn't know why, though, since One Direction is my nieghbor.
------
~Lou's POV~
We all got out of the van and we raced inside. We went to all our rooms, instantly.
