Hello there! Tis I, the author of this here trainwreck!
Currently, this book is at #915 in general, which I find astounding. Let me elaborate:
Though I published the first chapter waaaaaay back in 2015, or grade 6 for me, I actually began writing it back in grade 5. Although, I'm going to be truthful. Looking back, I can see I basically stole a majority of the plot (the whole "school for kids with powers" part) from another (much more well-written) by Victoria Foster, called the Girl Who Could Fly. Goshdangit, I lived and BREATHED that book, in fact, it's most likely why I am a writer today. Anyhow, check that out, because it's much better than this.
Currently, in school, I'm writing a book (with a plot that is actually original for once) that I hope to publish on here soon. But as I was getting into the writing, I thought "hey, wouldn't it be fun to look back on that book that got hella views back in 2016?" so I did. And it was a mistake. While some of the writing could be considered maybe half decent, the absolute cringiness overrules that by like %1000000000000. It took me TEN WHOLE CHAPTERS to get into the main plot point of this book. Ten chapters of stereotypical characters that have no motivation whatsoever. I'm sorry I made you suffer. I don't want to take it down due to the amazing attention its been getting, but please understand it probably will not be updated anytime soon. Maybe one day, eventually I'll try to fix this, but for now, literally just reading it makes my very essence cringe. It screams "sixth grader who has minimal friends and has turned to wattpad to fulfill her loneliness" and I hate it. But you know what, let's just take a moment to admire the fact I stole a whole ass name. That's right, "felicity juniper pickle" (yep that entire name) was taken from a really good book. Now, I don't remember its name, but wow 11-year-old aliyah. wow.
Anyhow, I'm sorry for all of you who actually read all that. TTFN.
