A little while later I hear the doors swing open and someone rush over. I look up and see Mum running over to me.

We rap our arms round each other and I can see her sobbing onto my back.

"Oh, my baby! Thank god!" She exclaims loudly.

"Hey, kid. It's good you're alright and alive." Dad says plainly, ever the serious one.

"Well now I can't have your room!" Jokes Stacy, making us all smile as she comes in to hug me.

"Well in that case, I'm glad I'm alive. We wouldn't want you getting what you want would we?" I joke sarcastically.

"Charlie, you were gone for an entire day! We were so worried!" Mum says.

"So you should be! I got stuck in the forest!" I sigh sarcastically, making them all smile.

"Well, I guess we should get you discharged now that you're all stitched up." Dad says happily.

Mum and Dad head away to talk to the nurse whilst Stacy and I start to talk.

"So what happened?" She enquires.

"I fell." I answer shortly.

This is definitely something I won't be talking to her about.

"And hit your head! The stitches have tape over it, just below your eyebrow. You're lucky you still have eyebrows I'd guess." She says.

"I don't doubt it. Could you pass me that water please?" I ask.

She hands me the glass of water that had been left on my table.

"Mum and Dad talked to all your friends... They told me to tell you that they hope you're okay. And something about them all blocking someone called THEGUY or something on the school web thing I think they'd like to talk to you in person, by some chance." Stacy tells me.

"Oh, thanks." I say, smiling at her.

"Has something happened? They just sort of seemed weirded out, I was wondering what happened with well..." She trails off suggestively, but I don't fill her in.

Instead of the silence I hope for Mum and Dad come back with smiles on their faces.

"Okay, Charlie the nurse warned us about your head and everything. You'll need to be careful and you need to keep rested to make a full recovery and you must tell the hospital if anything happens." Mum instructed.

"Got it." I agreed, getting up off the bed.

Mum looks like she was about to help me but was surprised when I was able to stand.

"Katherine, you should know Charlie by now. Even after a bad fall they get up and keep on marching on." Dad says, smiling.

"Yep, well you're not as young as you used to be." Mum agreed smiling at me.

Surprisingly we end up driving back in the car. Mum and Dad are talking about goodness knows what in the front and Stacy amazingly decided to offer my one of her headphones so I could listen to 'her kind' of music- a.k.a. old One Direction songs.

When we got home and I had put my phone on charge I find that I'd had tones and tones of messages from my friends.

They all go along the lines of: 'Where the hell are you?' or 'Are you okay?'

After copying and pasting loads of 'I'm okay. I hit my head badly and got knocked out.' I settle down into bed and after an extremely long time I manage to fall asleep.
