There is lots of noise and lights coming from inside the house.
Just as Brian goes to knock on the door it's swung open by one of the sophomores. They push past us and start throwing up in the bushes.
"That might be questionable for Eliza's parents." Maria notes.
"Nah, she gets her cleaners to cover it up tomorrow." Brian points out.
"Oh, yeah, I forgot about that. Maybe we should hide some vomit in her parent's room for them to find." Maria suggests.
"Nah, we'd never get in there." Brain tells us.
"Why?" I ask, a little confused.
"Last year the door was locked and we had to pick it. The first people here do it then use that room as 'make out room.' I remember doing it with Cassidy Weston." Brian explains.
"Wait, so they just have sex in that room?" I ask, only slightly fazed by him telling me about his relationship.
"Yeah. It stays as a make out room until midnight then all hell breaks loose in there." Brian explains.
"Wait so there's more than just one couple in there?" Maria asks, just as shocked as I am.
"Yeah, the room's massive. They tend to try and ignore each other for the entire time. But a fight tends to break out when anyone's interrupted. Obviously, a bunch of horny teenagers in a room is not a good idea. Apparently Eliza's had to replace tones and tones of picture frames that have been smashed in the past." Brain excitedly explains.
"Okay, so basically try your hardest to keep away from Eliza's parent's room. Got it." Maria jokes.
"Yeah, unless you fancy hooking up." Brian point out.
"So ovoid at all costs." I sum up, making them laugh.
The party is so weird. There's red plastic cups of beer everywhere, and some either really brave or already drunk people are dancing to music which is being blasted out of the speakers. Some people are playing beer pong in Eliza's garden, and others are just drinking cup after cup of whatever's left.
It's as awkward as the first party containing alcohol was. The house was extremely crowded and everyone seemed to be completely out of it.
Lazily, Maria strolled over to me at one point. Someone must have brought some Haribows because she had a bunch of the rings on every finger.
"Hey, dude! What is happenin?" She says, deliriously.
"Nothing much. You seem very happy." I note.
"Yes! I have had a lot of these cups." She says picking up another half cup of alcohol. "I saw the little dick just before."
"And who do you mean by that?" I ask, trying to hide my smile.
"THEMAN himself has come to town! He's in the make out room." She says, stumbling off to the music.
For a second my brain draws to a blank, without even thinking I'm heading to where Maria directed. That's when I run into Eliza.
In comparison so her recent appearance she looks bedraggled.
There are tears running down her face, spoiling her makeup and her hair is all knotted around the back, not to mention the stains on her dress.
Upon realising I was there, she crushed me in a hug.
"Oh my god, Charlie I am so sorry. You were right, so right. I was an idiot who had a stupid crush. I feel like an absolute idiot! This has to be the biggest, stupidest, most awful thing I have ever done to a friend!" She rambles.
