Klance Soulmates

School had just got out and students where everywhere, walking down the sidewalks, skateboarding, riding their bikes, jaywalking home. The 'Voltron' gang always walked home together since they lived in the same neighborhood. (Shiro is in college so he no walk with dem) Hunk and Pidge where talking about school work and how hard {to Pidge easy} their work was. Lance tried to join in their conversation but never found it interesting so decided to do what Keith was doing, listen to music.

Keith never talked with them, he was mostly an introvert and kept his mouth closed. Only people he really opened up to were Shiro, Adam, and Romelle(Keith and Romelle knew each other since grade school). Other then that no one really knew him as well.

Romelle, Allura, and Shay were talking to each other about girly things. Like... girly things I don't know.

"Do you even understand what Professor Alford is teaching us? I don't understand a single word that comes out of his mouth!" Hunk told Pidge while scrolling through yellow shirts from Target.web on his phone. "Can't help you there, I'm higher in  math than you guys, remember?" Pidge said trying to take a glance at Hunks phone. He shut up his off and put it in his pants pocket and Pidge frowned a bit. "I keep forgetting, it's so weird how you're younger than us but you're smarter than us!" Hunk said patting the small brunette girls head. "Pays off to be 15 in 11th grade!" Pidge chuckled.

Lance looked at Hunk and Pidge smiling and talking, then turned to look at Romelle, Shay, and Allura doing the same. Only him and Keith weren't talking. 'May as well start a conversation with him...' Lance thought to himself. He stopped walking for a moment so Keith could catch up, Keith walked very slow. Lance tapped his shoulder.

"Hey man!" Lance said plastering a smile over his face. Keith took out one earbud and looked at Lance. "Hey." He said. Lance looked back at his phone. "... So what kind of music are you listening to?" He asked trying to keep the conversation moving. Keith looked at his phone to check. "Just any kind, it's a radio station." He said and picked up his walking paste. "Oh," Lance walked quicker to keep up with Keith. "Well what's the name of it—"

He was interrupted by Pidge.

"BYE YOU GUYS!!!" She said running towards her house. "BYE!" They all said. Keith waved goodbye and put that one earbud back in his ear. He picked up his paste and walked closer behind Romelle hoping Lance would stop bugging him. And he did cause he knew Keith didn't want to talk.

"Hunk, your house is close by." Shay said with a frown. "I'll walk you home then go to my house." Hunk smiled. Shay grinned. 'Those two are obviously soulmates' Lance thought. Hunk and Shay always 'flirted' with other. Every time anyone asked if they were or weren't flirting they would always deny it. "We were just talking!" "Just a conversation!" Not the best excuses.

Not so long after Allura went to her house. Romelle also came along with Allura. They were going to have a girls night. Painting each other's nails, jumping on the bed, and making out. Next Shay went home and Hunk walked back to his house. So it was just Keith and Lance. Keith's house was a few blocks down and Lance lived a block away from Keith. Neither of them spoke to each other while walking home. Not a single word. When Lance reached his house he said goodbye to Keith. Keith looked at him and waved a goodbye and continued to walk home.

Lance unlocked the door and went straight upstairs. He went inside his room, closed the door and locked it. He threw his bag and lunch box at the wall and fell into bed. 'Why doesn't he like me? He won't even talk to me... I get that I'm annoying but still...' he thought. He went to his window and peeked our to see Keith making a turn down the road. 'He looks so cute with the wind blowing through his hair..."
