The next morning the weather was pretty bad. It was storming the rain kept coming down from the black storm clouds covering the neighborhood. There was thunder and lighting striking the ground. Most kids begged their parents to stay home from school by pointing out the weather, like most parents would say, they answered no. It was so chilly outside some even thought it would snow, or hail but the rain still poured.

"We haven't had bad weather like this in a while." Said Hunk trying to lighten the mood. The rain was setting off a sad start to the day. Without the sun shining down on kids faces making them smile widely everyone kinda seemed upset. Pidge held up a green umbrella over her head she told the others who didn't have any umbrellas to use hers but she's too short they would have to be crawling to stay under there with her. Romelle and Allura shared a pink umbrella, it had the words 'Princess' written on it in white cursive. Hunk and Shay shared a plain yellow umbrella and held hands while walking. Lance had a neon blue umbrella. And Keith was using his dark red umbrella.

"Hopefully the rain stops before school ends." Romelle said being careful walking in her mistake. High heels. "I kinda like the rain. We never get weather like this so it's nice for a change. And the plants get some water!" Shay said smiling a bit. Mostly everyone nodded their heads in agreement.

They were at the school grounds and they opened the double doors and walked to their lockers. They grabbed their stuff they would need for their first two periods and headed for their classes. Romelle and Lance had all classes together. Allura has a few classes with Hunk and Shay. Pidge has two classes with Hunk. Hunk and Shay have all classes together. And Keith has no classes with his friends.

~Time Skip to After school because I don't know what else to do~

The rain never stopped. It kept coming down from the grey sky being blocked by storm clouds. The teachers kept the students in the school all day, no recess and lucky for Keith he didn't have to go outside for P.E.

"I'm going to fall into a puddle! I knew I shouldn't have choose my heels!" Romelle complained. Sounding like a basic white girl to everyone else. "You're fault you don't watch the news." Pidge said and jumped into a puddle getting her, Romelle and Allura wet. "Pidge!" Romelle screamed and put her good on like it will prevent her from getting wet. "Pidge, please don't do that." Allura asked nicely. "Fine."

They got to the neighborhood pretty quickly, cause they were running for their lives across the street not knowing if the cars could see them even if their headlights were turned on.

...

Pidge left.
Allura left.
Romelle left.
Shay left.
Hunk left.
They all went home. Inside their nice dry, warm, houses with thick clothes and towels to dry them off from the rain coming down from the sky onto the land. It was just Keith and Lance now. Keith and Lance. Walking home together. Alone. No one else there to start a conversation with them. Just the two alone. Lance was determined to start a conversation with Mr. Mullet.

...

"So Keith... wheres your house?"
Keith turned his head at Lance in confusion. "You know where it is.." Lance smiled embarrassedly. "Oh right, well... um..." 'This is going great, nice job sounding like a complete idiot!' Lance thought to himself. "How was school?" Lance was shocked to hear Keith ask him that. Why? It's not like Keith ever spoke to him. Even if Keith's life depended on talking to Lance he'd much rather die. "Oh-um-school— school was great! Yeah, we did all sorts of things in science! How was your day at school?" Lance said very quickly, too quick but some how Keith understood what he was staying. "It was alright." After that the silence continued. It wasn't comfortable silence either, it was awkward silence that went on until they reached Keith's house. "Well goodbye! I'll-I'll see you tomorrow!" Lance smiled like a child and turned back around to walk to his house which was 6 down from Keith's. Keith waved goodbye and unlocked the front door.
-Smwack-
A sting of pain struck Keith's cheek as a hand slapped it. "It's 3:15! Where the fuck where you?" An angry voice demanded. "Walking home from school. What else could I be doing?" Keith said, sounding slightly annoyed. He headed upstairs when a hand yanked at his wrist and pulled him down two steps. "Don't you talk to me in the fucking tone. You hear me?!" The voice yelled. Keith glared and stood back up. "You don't have anything to say for yourself now? Go to your damn room. I'll be there in a moment." Keith turned back around and walked up five stairs. Just before he made it to the top he looked back.

"Of course Gabby."
