I am woken by the alarm I set for 6:45 AM. I switch it off and get out of bed. Today is the first day of my training, so I need to try to make a positive first impression. I go for a shower and wash my hair. The Sensation of the shower gel and shampoo is so relaxing it's as though the tension and stress is being melted away by the running water.
Once I get out from my shower, I decide to get ready. It's 7:00, and my training starts at 9:00.
I put on a white sleeveless top with some black leggings and then a black leather jacket on top. I made sure I brought some clothes with me, but when I first get paid, I'll go and buy some more clothing. I apply a natural makeup look to my face, then for my hair, I made it into a ponytail with my fringe swept to the side.
I start to make myself some breakfast in my new kitchen, getting used to how it all works. I finish eating around 8:20 ish. I now decide to head out of my room to get a sense of where everything is located in the headquarters.
Today is the start of a new me...
I walk down the corridor and I reach only 2 steps past Vinny's room before he comes out greeting me. He's wearing a black leather jacket aswell, but some black skinny jeans and a black t-shirt underneath.
"Morning, how did you sleep last night?" He asks.
"Fine thank you. What about you?" I reply with another question.
"could've been better, but I suppose we can buy things to put in our rooms when we get paid." He says.
We make our way down to the ground floor of the headquarters from the 5th floor out rooms are located on. We decide to go for a coffee at the Café, sitting down at a table together.
"So, your sister..." I start.
"Oh she's not a morning person, not one bit. I'm always having to apologise for the things she does haha" He says before sipping a bit of his coffee.
"Haha, I get the feeling she wasn't too pleased with me yesterday." I reply.
"Don't worry about it," he says "she's just jealous, it'll be something you have that she wishes she had." He adds.
Why would she be jealous of me? I ask myself
just as my mind begins to wander; Kendra walks into the restaurant followed by the other man. They come and join us on the table.
"Oh hi," I say to the guy "I didn't catch your name yesterday."
"Oh, I'm Damien." He says introducing himself. he has short brown hair with emerald green eyes and pale skin.
"Well my names Ellie, this is Vinny, and I'm guessing you already know Kendra?" I reply.
"Ha well of course." Kendra says sarcastically just to wind me up with a fake smile.
We all continue to chat for a while before Vinny says "Come on Ellie, let's go." as we leave the table.
We head over to the main reception desk to collect our badges.
"Hello, how can I help you?" The kind woman asks.
"Could we please get our badges, please?" I say "We're the new recruits."
"Oh yes of course, your names please?"
"I'm Agent Hughes." I say.
"Agent Renick." Vinny tells her.
She fetches our name badges from the back room and hands them over the desk to us.
"Thank you." We both say before we head towards a sitting area to stay away from the crowds, and Kendra I think Vinny is trying to keep me away from her a bit to let her Cool down from yesterday.

8:55AM
Damien and Kendra both joined us not long ago and we have all sat getting to know one another better. "Come on let's go." I say as we all head towards the training sector of the headquarters. I notice Kendra glaring at me as usual, but just ignore her as I walk into the room.
Waiting for us was our trainer. His appearance reminds me of a military soldier, well built, young with grey eyes and blonde hair
"Welcome; for this is where your training begins. I'm your coach, Blade." He says.
Blade? What a strange name I think to myself.
"First up is gun accuracy." He informs us as targets are set up for us to train and practice.
He hands us each a pistol and demonstrates how to hold a gun properly, and also how to use it. I've never had to hold a gun in my life so it's a bit daunting for me if I'm honest.
We all spend a good 15 minutes trying out our guns and getting used to using them, before he stops us and says walking past us all "right, I've been watching how you've been doing, and I've got to say you're all pretty good for beginners, but you're here for one reason. To improve."
He holds his hand out to me, and I pass him my gun. He rapidly fires 5 bullets, each hitting the target area.
"That, is the level I want you all to get to by the end of the day," he says "Manage that, and I'll be impressed and pleased with your training... Begin."
We all continue to fire shots at our targets, and we're doing ok. All except for Kendra. Blade came round and gave us each advice on how to shoot better. Once he got round to me he held the gun with me as a guide. He said I wasn't aiming properly, so he taught me a few tricks on how to aim better. He also helped the others, but it took Kendra longer to be able to shoot in the target range.
"Right! A demonstration of your skills please." Blade says, setting up new targets for us to fire at.
Damien goes first. Then Kendra. Then Vinny, until it's my turn to shoot.
"Begin." Blade says as I fire five bullets at the target.
Once I'm done, Blade was shocked at how I had done. I think everyone in the room was. I'd hit the same spot all 5 times.
"Wow Agent Hughes, I'm impressed. Well done everyone today. I shall be showing Ashton your results and how you have all improved." Blade says.
We all leave the training part of the HQ it's now 6:00PM.
Oh my god! We spent 9 hours in there firing bullets
We were all starving by the time we left so we all head for the café. Of course Kendra couldn't stand being by me, so she sat with a few other female agents a bit like her, whilst I sat with Damien and Vinny. I'd much rather be with them, because they're so much nicer than what Kendra is, and if them girls are anything like her, then God help me.
Once we finished our meals, we all head back up to our rooms. It's been a long tiring day.
