It can be an experience that can be good or bad. Some witches get backlash for coming out of the broom closet, others don't. Some even wait until they are out of the house to tell their parents.
If you live in a household where your parents are religious or are against witchcraft, then you might wanna wait to tell them until you move out and won't have to rely on them.
