They all stood dumbfounded as the glass door stood teasing them for a place of safety. Nobody dared to the break glass In fear that if they did an alarm would go off drawing all the dead to them. B took a couple of steps back looking around for another way to get in. The rest of the group followed looking for any sign of an open window or an unlocked door.

They scattered around the building all looking for something that would help them. Looking around for anything they could use to get in. B saw Marty and Ethan head around back while her and Mason stayed in front, one of them was bound to be lucky enough to find something that could get them in the building. As the sun threatens to go down, the group knew that they needed to get somewhere safe.

"Do you think he could have gotten in here?" B asked stepping back to look at the huge building.

"This is his old college he used to go here before the world went to shit, If I know Philip he could weasel his way in this place in no time." Mason seemed pretty confident about this not doubting that his son could handle a lot more than what people think. He continued looking around even trying to open a small window on the bottom floor.

"Are you okay Mason? I know It must be really hard with everything that has gone on today." B looked at the older man her eye's pleading for him to tell her that he was just fine. It hurt to watch what happened back at the house. The look of being lost was written all over both Mason and Philip's face. At least she didn't have to see her family die the where just gone.

"I've watched my Men did right in front of my eye B blown up by other men. I am sad don't get me wrong but I'm not going to stop until this is over," He spoke as if he was hollowed out on the inside. He had witnessed bad things happen in the past but this had to be completely different. The dead were back, and they took one of his kids and all he can say this is basically A bump in the road for him.

B could only get out a small noise in reply to the man not knowing what to say. She felt that no matter what she said it wouldn't matter to him. He still had the scar in his eyes but maybe that was always there and B never noticed.

"Mike and Philip were my brother's kids but after he died when they were young I adopted them. Not many people know that. Mike was always like David, my brother And Philip he was more like me a stubborn one." He lowered his voice as he spoke. Stopping he looked at B and gave a weak smile she had no idea the boys were adopted and being raised by there uncle.

"did they know?" she asked in confusion. He nodded his head and then tried to open a window in their far left but it didn't budge.

"what about their mother?" She asks to frighten that she might have pressed to much, But the words have already left her mouth. She looks him in the eye for any indication that she might have; he looked at her for a moment then back down to the ground at a dying bush not saying a word.

A cold breeze swept by them making both face each other. They knew that if they couldn't find shelter for the night the chances of them getting sick or eaten by the dead would go up. Marty and Ethan come from the other side of the building.

"Any luck?" Mason turned and asked totally avoiding the question that B asked.

" No, but there is some cars parked back their if we need we could just stay the night in one of those.

"any supply?" Mason asked the pair.

"Not from our quick search, but we did find these." He tossed a pill bottle over at Mason who caught them with both hands then examined it closely.

"Painkillers good find" he put the pills in his pocket.

"It's getting a cold we better find a way in before the light is gone," Mason stated as he walked passed B trying the front door again.
