"What the hell?" Ethan said as he looked over at B who was completely dumbfounded on to what just happened. "where's Philip?"

"Guys Philip's missing?" B shouted Making Marty and Mason look at her. B could see the gears turning as they try to process what she just said. Marty and Mason look across the road and see the wood everything clicking in place.

"Shit!"Mason whispered opening the door to the vehicle and grabbing his gun."come on!" B and Ethan get out both carrying knifes and enter the woods following Mason who is leading the group.

"What's going to happen if we find him?" Ethan asked B as they entered the darkened Woods. She thought this over for a minute but what happened? Everything that's going wrong. people were dying, people were fighting, and now Masons only remaining son I pulled a stunt like this.

"I don't know, Mason is already jump down his throat once just imagine what he's going to do now. She new that Philip was not in the right place at the moment only minutes earlier his home was destroyed, his brother dead, is Father jumping on him saying he wasn't a man. She didn't blame Ethan even though the blame could have easily been placed on him.

She never understood why boys wanted to play the alpha male. Why they wanted to take charge of the situation and to do that they had to fight and argue. Eventually going mad, and in this world you have to keep your head if you don't then you're no better than those things out there.

They walk through the woods following the footprints of Philip who was only moment ahead of them, but yet they couldn't seemed to catch up with him. Mason walked in front in a crouched position looking at the dent in the leaves that Philips boots left an impression in.

Every body was super aware of the danger they were in making them all look around knowing that behind any tree, any bush, at any second they could be attacked eaten at any moment. There gut scattered across the dead leaves being gorged on by the dead only rise minute later not even knowing who you are just to follow the footstep of the "things" you hate. They knew the danger, but they also knew that they had to follow the rules never leave a man behind.

B would chase after him even of her was on her own Marty did it for her. some are lucky enough to live while some on us are luck enough to fight. B so happened to be the kind to care for the people that are around her. A bump in the road was not going to stop her.

"Out of all the stupid things, you can do you do this" Mason muttered to himself but they all heard it. The echos in the wood carried the sound around them making it hard to know which direction a noise is coming from. The wind rattled making the scene even bizarre and outlandish then it would usually be on a nice day. Mason continued to look down at the forest floor seemed to be having a hard time looking for a reliable footprint to follow.

"do you know where hes heading to?" Marty asked pushing aside Ethan and B to get to the front of the line. He crouched down next to Mason who was crawling forward looking to see what direction Philip went in.

"It's hard to say they're about twenty other footprints in these woods," he sounded rather worried to B making her know that they were in deep and they'res no telling what's going to happen. To her these footprints to be people who have survived or the people who haven't.

"There's the old college up there do you think he went there?" Marty asked as he gets up and leans against the tree crossing his arms. Mason stayed quite for a second thinking it over and got up him self-looking at Marty and nodded.

"It wouldn't hurt to look." Mason replied and began walking deeper in the woods. The trees twist and turn making it almost impossible to maneuver your way around especially if you didn't know the area well which in Ethan and B's case they didn't.
