"Because what happens if we get judged? Or if we all change and split apart?"
"First of all, that will never happen. We will always be together no matter what. Second of all, if someone gets judged, they have 3 friends there to back them up." Maya said.
"I guess you're right. No matter how hard high school hits me, I know I have 3 best friends, one including my sister, to help me." I said.
"Exactly." Liv said. We all gave each other a group hug.
"Ooh, by the way, I got everyone something!" Riley said. She went to grab a small box. When she opened it, we all saw 4 rings. "I bought these rings for us. These will remind us that no matter what happens, we will all be there for each other."
"Ooh, I'll take the lightning!" Maya said. She grabbed the ring that had a lightning strike on it.
"I'll take the rain!" Liv said. She grabbed the ring with the raindrop on it.
"I'll take the cloud." I said, taking the ring with the cloud on it.
"And I'll take the thunder." Riley said, taking the ring that said 'thunder' on it. Since there isn't really a symbol for thunder.
We all put our rings on. Then one by one, put our rings in the middle.
"Cloud"
"Rain"
"Thunder"
"Lightning" We all touched rings, knowing that we'll all be there for each other no matter what.
"Now, it's my turn to take us all somewhere." I said.
"Sweet! Where are we going?"
"You'll see..." We all leave the bay window. We start walking downtown, soon arriving at the subway.
"What are we doing at the subway?" Riley asked.
"We're going to go see something beautiful" I said. We went down to the subway train. I handed everyone a ticket so we could go in. We went into the train, and sat in the front.
"Nice! We got front row seats!" Liv said, everyone then started laughing. The sun was starting to go down, perfect for what I wanted to do.
"So, can you tell us where we're going?" Maya asked.
" We're going to the top of a hill."
"Why?"
"I can't tell you! It's a surprise!" I said chuckling. We finally arrived at the next stop. "Okay, sadly we're going to have to climb a little." I said, as everyone else started to groan. We started to climb up. Once we got to the top, we all sat down.
"Okay, now can you tell us why we're up here?" Riley asked.
"Yes. We're going to look up at the stars." Everyone seemed happy, but also a little confused. "It's been a while since I got to see the stars up here. Also, tonight's the night when the stars are most beautiful." It soon got dark, and the stars appeared.

"Whoa." Liv said.
"Those are beautiful!" Riley said.
"I know right. I thought maybe we could all look at these.
Because when I look at the stars, it's like I could see a bright future coming up."
"Wow, I've never thought of that." Maya said.
"Stars make people happy when they feel down, at least to me they do. Ever since grandma died, I just looked up at the stars, and I felt better." I said.
"I think of stars as people who will have bright futures. And soon, I believe we'll be the stars." Maya said.
"Exactly. You guys mean a lot to me. I don't know what I'd do without you all." I said.
"Me too." The others said. We all gave each other a hug.
"Well, it's getting late. We should head back." Riley said.
"Right, let's go." Liv said. We all head back to the train station, then head home. As soon as we arrive back in town, we head over to Maya's house to drop them both off.
"Well, if you ever need us, give us a call. We're available whenever." Maya said.
"Will do. See you later!" I said. I put my hand in the middle.
"Cloud."
"Rain"
"Thunder"
"Lightning." We all laughed and gave each other one more group hug.
"Bye guys!" Liv and Maya said.
"Bye!" Riley and I said. We then went back home.
"Hey girls!" Mom said.
"Hey mom!" We both said.
"Are you girls ready for high school?" We both looked at each other and smiled.
"Yeah. We are. Now that we have each other." I said, giving Riley a hug.
"Just remember, you'll do great. And we believe in you." Dad said.
"Thanks dad." I said. "Even though we had arguments back then, I'm glad I came back home."
"Well we're glad you came back. We missed you a lot." Mom said.
"And I missed you too." I said.
"I'm going to head to bed. Goodnight!" Riley said.
"Goodnight" We all said back.
"Goodnight mom. Goodnight dad." I said.
"Goodnight Hailey." I then went to my room. I heard a strange noise coming from my window.
"Who's there?"
"Hailey? It's me."
"Grandma? Grandma!" I said. Her spirit came to me, which made me cry a little.
"Have fun in high school. I know you'll do great."
"Thanks grandma. I wish you were still here though" I said.
"I know honey, but you can still talk to me in spirit."
"True." I said.
"Well, I should let you go to bed."
"Okay. Bye grandma"
"Bye Hailey. Oh wait, Hailey?"
"Yeah."
"One more thing. Go, meet the world, and make it yours."
"I will." I said "And when I do, will you still be there for me?"
"Right here, honey. I'll be right here." She said. I smiled, with a small tear coming down on my face.
I've had many people in my life to support me. Now, it's time for me to support them. I'm not going to be a kid forever. I have a lot of things to do in the future. But, I'm ready for it. Like grandma said, it's time. Time for me... to meet the world, and make it my own!
