Everyone stood staring at the body in Hagrid's arms. "Draco, who is that? Who is it that Hagrid's carrying?" Ginny asked Draco. As though he had heard her question, Voldemort spoke. "Harry Potter... IS DEAD!" He shouted. "No! No!" Ginny shouted, trying to run towards him. Draco grabbed her arm and held her back. "Stupid girl. Harry Potter is dead," Voldemort said before turning to his followers. "Harry Potter is dead!" He said to a mixture of laughs and cheers.

Harry took advantage of Voldemort being distracted to pull on the invisibility cloak and fall out of Hagrid's arms. The entire courtyard was silent save for Hagrid shouting, "Where's Harry?" at the top of his voice. Voldemort was dueling three people at once, as was Bellatrix. Ginny, Draco, and Dean were fighting Bellatrix when she sent a killing curse at Ginny, which missed by mere inches. A furious Molly Weasley walked in front of Draco, Ginny, and Dean. "Not my daughter, you bitch!" She said furiously, and Bellatrix laughed. Molly and Bellatrix began to duel. They were battling with so much power that the floor cracked. Then, Molly hit Bellatrix with a curse that froze her and appeared to suck the air out of her. Molly sent another spell at Bellatrix, who exploded into confetti. Voldemort screamed with rage.

Harry blocked Voldemort's next spell and pulled off the invisibility cloak. "You're not going to kill anyone else today," he said. A sudden shout drew everyone's attention as Neville beheaded Nagini with the Sword of Gryffindor. Harry and Voldemort faced each other, each prepared to fight to the death. "You can't win, Tom," said Harry. "You dare -?!" Voldemort began, "Yes, I dare," Harry replied. "I know something that you don't, Tom," he continued. "Severus Snape was never yours," Harry said. "I killed Snape!" Voldemort said angrily. "You still don't get it, do you Tom? Dumbledore and Snape had planned Dumbledore's death between themselves," Harry said. "It matters not, Potter! I killed Snape, so therefore the Elder Wand belongs to me!" Voldemort said. "The wand never belonged to Snape. It belongs to the person who disarmed Dumbledore that night. It belongs to Draco Malfoy," Harry said, "It makes no difference! Once I kill you, I shall attend to Draco Malfoy," Voldemort snarled. "But then there was that day at Malfoy Manor around Easter. So, if wand laws apply to the Elder Wand, then... I am the true master of the Elder Wand," Harry said. "Avada Kedavra!" Voldemort shouted, just as Harry shouted "Expelliarmus!"

Their spells met in the middle, and Harry's drove Voldemort's spell back toward him. The spell hit Voldemort, and the Elder Wand went flying through the air. Harry caught the wand as Voldemort disintegrated.

The war was over. Kingsley Shacklebolt was appointed as the new Minister of Magic, Minerva McGonagall was appointed temporary Headmistress of Hogwarts, and the Wizarding World was finally at peace. Harry and Pansy were hugging, Ron was snogging Scarletta, and Ginny had her head on Draco's shoulder. It was the start of a new life for everyone.

I just had to include that Molly Weasley quote. That's got to be one of my favorite scenes ever in the films and the books. Remember, I do not own the images used for the chapters of this story. All credit goes to the creators of the images. See you in the sequel, Bright Future!
