All the girls were glaring at you. Not even the friends of Na Jaemin could keep their eyes off of you. The cutest guy in your school was sitting right in front of you and asking for your help in English knowing that you ace every single test. Of course you do, considering you were born and raised in an english speaking country.

Still, you couldn't believe what was happening to you. At this point you were pretty sure you were dreaming. Jaemin never was a bad student, so why did he need your help. Before you could ask though, he stood up and left, only leaving you a piece of paper which had his number, a time and place standing on it.

So that's how you found yourself in the school library after your last period, waiting for him. You knew it was a bad idea and that you will probably be seen as the joke of the year because he was late. When you decided to leave, packing all of your belongings, you felt a hand on your shoulder.

„Don't leave. I meant what I said back at the classroom but my stupid math teacher was holding me back," Jaemin apologised as soon as he caught you.

You didn't want to do anything else except to leave but your curiosity got the best of you. So, you sat back down, grabbing your english books and papers. When you looked up at him, you couldn't help but just be awestruck by his beauty. However, you immediately looked down when he caught your gaze, smiling to himself, thinking about how cute you are.

„Ok Y/n, the reason why I asked for your help is that I want to become better. I want to have fluid conversations with a native speaker." He said, knowing that you wanted an answer.

„Oh ok. Then where do you want to start at? Because you can already introduce yourself."

„I wasn't really thinking of us just sitting in the library and you helping me but that we can be friends and have daily conversations about the things you like, you did before you moved here. I want to know how many differences we have. I want to know everything about you."

At this you blushed. You didn't expect Jaemin to want to know much about you since he never approached you before this. Neither have you done anything for the past months that you have been attending the school. You also didn't have any friends really, because you are just a shy person and neither have any of your classmates ever interacted with someone outside their nationality. So, Jaemin offering you to be his friend was something totally unexpected. But this was the beginning of a really good friendship.

Ever since that day, you and Jaemin walked to and home from school. And everytime he would see you in classes or in the hallway he would be by your side. He once even brought your favourite snack with him to share. That really made your heart flutter but you ignored the feeling, knowing that he only sees you as a friend. Unbeknowst to you, he only did it to see your eyes shine again you had an exam and were really tired because of it.

He kept on doing little things for you, seeing how happy it made you at him remembering details. With every day passing, you started to find yourself slowly falling for him. However, it broke your heart when you saw him being hugged by a girl you didn't know. That girl was his cousin, you later find out from the others that you had gotten close to as well. They also told you that she hates it when girls hang out around him because they could be a bad influence. So you weren't suprised when the first time you met, she already said she didn't like you without getting to know anything about you.

After this, Jaemins cousin would try everything to get him away from you. When he was about to approach you, she would come and drag him away. This went on for a whole month until you even gave up hope.

Later on, you started to always find yourself on the rooftop of the school building enjoying the view you had shared with Jaemin at the start of your friendship. You would spent your lunch time together on the rooftop, listening to music or talking about everything. But now those times were gone and ypu started to even spend time there at the end of the school day. You hated your brain for always bringing up the memories you shared. Not realising how long you spend your time there, you were startled when suddenly someone sat down beside you.

It was Na Jaemin.

The boy you wanted to see. Wanted to be with.

„I apologise for my cousin getiing in the way of our friendship but she is just worried that I will only be used and then end up like her. She had a rough time after her boyfriend and her friends left her and she is really worried about it happening to me too. I'm really sorry that I couldn't tell you sooner or hang out with you anymore. But now everything is settled and she won't bother us anymore, although I did think you didn't want to be friends with me anymore after you stopped approaching us the other day." Jaemin told you sincerely.

„Well, the others told me to better not interfere if I don't want her to hate me more than she did. I also didn't know if I would have made the situation worse with the two of you, so I just did what they recommended." You replied to him.

A comfortable silence fell over the two of you and you were just enjoying each others company.

Jaemin cleared his throat, breaking the silence and taking you off guard with what he said.

„You know, I do hope that our friendship could turn into something more because I really like you and you are just so cute that I want to pinch your cheeks all the time. Your hands are really soft and it just makes me want to hold them in mine forever. But the best part of all this would be, to see you blush because of me. You know, it makes me want to kiss you."

Before you could reply, you heard an alarm going of.

You groggily woke up, hating your alarm for pulling you out of a beautiful dream with your crush. Instead of dwelling over it for too long, you got ready to go to school and start your day.

What you didn't expect was Jaemin coming up to you and asking for your help.
