Be Careful Who You Mess With (Fifth Harmony/You)

Chapter 9

Normani's POV:

When Chamber got on stage with Brad and took the guitar, I can't help but think if she is good at playing. I mean ever since middle school we have music classes together and I've never seen her at least play an instrument.

"Look, Brad's ready to sing." Arin, my boyfriend says as I look at Brad who is basically looking at the lyrics. Just then Chamber starts strumming the guitar and I swear my eyes went wide of how good she is. Then Brad starts singing and basically every now and then he looks at Lauren, but I can see that Lauren looks at Chamber, and so are the girls.

When Brad finish singing, Chamber finishes the song by strumming the guitar. There were applauds that can be heard at the audience, including us. She puts the guitar back on the stand and walks out the stage. She looks at us, and we quickly stare away. The class ended but not telling us what we will be doing for next week.

I walked to my last period for the day, English. I walk to the back where the girls are seated. I seat in between Dinah and Ally. The order is vertical from Lauren, Dinah, me, Ally, and Camila. Mrs. Garcia, our English teacher walked in. The class settled down because sometimes she turns to Godzilla when she's angry or when the class in noisy.

"Class for today you will have a take home activity." She started and there were a few 'yeses' from the students while the others groan. "Quiet down now. This activity is individual. Now you will pick a paper from a box and when you pick out the paper, the result of the person or persons will either be a group, by twos', or individual. The name or names that is given to you needs to be described. The common are: What is the meaning, where it came from, and are there other related names to it, or you may add other meaning or explanation, that is up to you. Now I will go around the room and you have to pick a paper and say the name or names out loud. Understood." She finished and we all said yes and picked the box and roam the room.

Students start picking papers and some were lucky and some were not. I just keep my eyes on the teacher cause who knows who will pick my name or even better 'our' names.

"Darreth please pick out a paper and read out loud." Mrs. Garcia said and she picked out a paper. She opened it and look at Mrs. Garcia. "Can I pick another one?" Chamber ask and Mrs. Garcia shook her head. "Please read it out loud Darreth." She sigh and read it out loud.

"Lauren, Normani, Dinah, Ally, and Camila"

Camila's POV:

"Lauren, Normani, Dinah, Ally, and Camila"

I shot up when I heard our names. I mean I except to be picked by other students, but by Chamber, wew. I look at the other girls and saw them smirking. Ooohhh I think they have a plan. Later on the bell rang signalling end of class. Meaning also end of school. For now. I grabbed my stuff and went out the room to the halls where I would meet the girls.

Moments later, they got out of the room and we walked down the halls to the parking lot. I see Chamber climbing inside a Jeep. Strange, she doesn't change her car for every start of the classes.

"Mila you coming or not." A voice said cutting me out of my thoughts.

"Yeah, coming." I replied walking to our car. Yes 'our' car, cause our houses are basically near each other so we get free rides, especially when someone's car is timed out.

"So where we going?" I asked once I got in the car.

"We're going to the Davenport Dock to book the yacht our parents bought for us." Lauren said while scanning something on her phone. I looked at them confused.
