Normani's POV:

I enter back to the house and head to the dining area. Mom and dad are already settled at their respective seats. I sat down as well, on the opposite side of my mom.

"She's a keeper isn't she Normani." My mom said and I look at her confused. "Amelia. She's a keeper. You should keep her you know. After all, she is better than that Arin guy. Sheesh." She finished as she ate her pasta.

"Are you saying this because our family and their family are friends so you wanna hook us up?" I said while swirling my fork at her.

"Hey don't get me wrong. You two have like the same taste. Your sporty, she's sporty, she's smart, you're a smart too but a little, and she's caring, sweet and kind. The type of person that I want. Actually all five of them are kind, sweet, caring. I don't want my baby to get hurt that's all I'm saying." We continued eating in a comfort silence.

"I'll be in my room." I said as I put my plate on the sink. I walk up to my room and flop on the bed. I turn on the TV and scroll on channels. I stopped in a particular one when I find the show interesting. My phone dinged minutes later and I check what it is about.

Unknown number:
Hey, just checking you out. You bored?

My brows meet in confusion as I don't know who is this from.

Normani:
Who are you?

I said to the mystery person, and I got a reply fast.

Unknown number:
Jeez, forgot about me already? We just talked earlier.

Normani:
Daven you idiot. I thought you were some pervert guy I was talking too. And yes I am bored. How's Chamber and Harrington, they still pranking?

My future boo💓:
Well sorry I though you knew. And the two are fine. Although Chamber dumped a whole bucket of iced water on Harrington while she's playing golf on the garden. And also, how come you're bored?"

Normani:
Damn, Chamber really got her revenge. I'm bored cause I got nothing to do. The girls are probably busy with something. Maybe working on how they'll rock their outfits for the party.

My future boo💓:
Then in that case, what do you wanna do?

Normani:
I don't know. I don't have anything in mind.

My future boo💓:
Huh. Ok then.

Normani:
How about it, if you come over. Maybe we can talk some things out.

My hands are shaking are I don't know why. I waited for her response as the three dots disappeared.

My future boo💓:
I'll be there in a few. I'll call you when I have arrived.

I breath out in relief that I didn't know I was holding. I put my phone down as I smiled before turning my attention back to the TV screen. Moments later my phone started ringing. I look at the caller ID and smiled and answered it.

Hey, I'm here already. You might need to come down and open the door.

I'll be heading down now.

I end the call and went downstairs. I pass my mother who is seating on the living room couch watching Dance Moms.

"Mani where are you going?" She asked and turn her attention to me. I ignore her and just open the front door. There stood Daven, leaning on her grey Jaguar.
