No One's POV:

A week passed and Chamber drove the girls back to their respective homes.

The girls prepared themselves for the holidays, as for Chamber, she worked on the holidays, it has been her habit already.

Harrington walked down the hall in the Chamber Company Complex, heading straight to Chamber's office.

She leaned on the doorframe, hands in her jean pockets, watching Chamber finish some paperwork.

"You seriously don't celebrate the holidays don't you?" Harrington asked, breaking Chamber off the screen of her computer and the papers.

Chamber looked at Harrington leaning against the door. "Depends if I want to. I celebrate the holidays yes, but not this year."

Harrington rolled her eyes, "You don't celebrate the holidays even last year, last last year, and the years before that. You only celebrated the holidays when we were kids, when you were still in the house. But when you left, you changed. Even your birthdays, you don't celebrate them anymore. Instead, you just sit around in this lousy office and do paperwork."

Chamber looked up from the paper and to Harrington, "Look I don't know what your deal is but I will not celebrate the holidays."

"Even Noche Buena?"

"Noche Buena or Media Noche. I won't do it this year."

Harrington let out a sigh then rolled her eyes. "Whatever. Look if you want to have dinner with us, you're always welcome. I gotta do some last minute shopping for food and gifts. I'll see you after the holidays."

With that, Harrington left. Chamber sighed then leaned back on her seat, groaning then looking out the window. She glanced at her phone, debating whether or not to call her family back in the Philippines, in her mother side.

Chamber looked up in the sky out of her window. "Pray for me." She mumbled then grab her phone.

Meanwhile....

"DINAH GET YO DIRTY HANDS OFF THE FOOD!" Dinah's mother strictly said then slapped her hands hard, making her wince a little.

"Can I just have one bite?" Dinah pleaded with her hands positioned in a prayer while giving puppy eyes.

"No, that's for tomorrow midnight. And stop looking at me like that, you look ridiculous." Dinah gave her mother a face.

Milika raised her hands up, "I'm just saying." Dinah rolled her eyes, "Whatever."

-

"Dad I'll handle those." Ally said then took the pan of baked Christmas cookies from the hands of his father.

"You know we could help right? You don't have to do everything." Jerry said then rubbed her daughter's back.

Ally faced her father after placing another pan full of mac and cheese. "I know dad, but I just want to make this holiday special, that's all." She side hugged her dad. "But I do need a help with the turkey." This made her father chuckle.

"I'll handle that."

-

"So mom, what else do you need?" Lauren asked her mother, placing all the condiments and ingredients her mother needs to make their traditional holiday dinner.

Her mother checked everything before facing Lauren. "Nothing else. Just help me in cooking and baking them."

"Noted"

-

"Alright mom," Normani huffed as soon as she placed the grocery bags on the counter. "here are everything you need." She finished then walked out of the kitchen, flopping on the living room couch.
