I'm sorry, I have been very busy. My first day of school was Tuesday and there is already drama, so there will be a 2nd book. I am not sure what it will be called yet.
After December, time seemed to blur. I didn't really care about guys, and they didn't care about me. The very few guys I talked to were Adam and Chuck.
Chuck rode my bus every morning and after school, so we became pretty close. We both like the same bands, like, Three Days Grace, Panic At The Disco, Fall Out Boy, and we shared names of songs that we thought were cool and we listened to music together on the bus.
I was pretty sure that Adam liked me, but I was still stuck on Lyle. The fact that I couldn't move on made me mad. But that soon changed when the snow melted away.
It's now May, and there's only a month left of school, so everyone is freaking out and getting really excited, and who could blame them? Summer is nearly here, a wonderful season filled with shirtless, tan guys and us girls will be strutting our best bikinis. School will be out and us teens will get to be set free for a whole 3 months.
Lyle has just broken up with Alice, after he caught her cheating on him with one of his best friends, and he told me to meet him at the auditorium. I had to stay after school anyways for a choir thing, so it wasn't that big of a deal.
Anyways, I saw him wear a hoodie and jeans, so I yanked the hoodie off of his head and teased him, "Aren't you too hot for this? It's a million degrees in this school!"
Lyle merely shrugged his shoulders, and looked around us, "Hey, do you think that we can go over in there?" he asked.
I looked to where he was pointing and shrugged my shoulders, "The auditorium? I guess. There's nothing in there though."
He walked towards the auditorium doors and pushed them open, motioning me to come in after him, which I did.
The auditorium was dark, the lights were off, but music was playing.
Lyle came up from behind me, wrapping his arms around my waist and before I could think, 'What the he-'
He gently pulled my face towards his and kissed me.
I was going to pull away, but he cupped my face with his hands and deepened the kiss.
After 5 minutes of serious tongue action, we stopped to breathe and then he kissed me again, this time, he ran his hands up and down my back, through my hair, and back down to my waist. I simply wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him back.
But this tiny voice in my head reminded me of Adam... I wanted to stop, but I instead imagined kissing him. After awhile, we stopped kissing.
Lyle looked at me and said, "That was your first French Kiss, right?"
I nodded.
"That's impressive, Katrina."
I smiled at him, but I couldn't help but feel a bit guilty about betraying Adam. Oh well, it's not like he and I are dating, so it shouldn't be a big deal....
Right?
