*Josie's pov*
We only had a month to prepare our wedding because we want to get married pretty quickly. Hope isn't really an organized person so Lizzie helped me a lot. We sent invitations to Hope's family, mine and our friends. We decided to get married where my mom and Stefan did. I was a little bit stressed about the wedding because both of my parents had really bad experiences with weddings or just relationships. My dad's ex wife pretended to be dead and got turned into a vampire behind his back. After that, his girlfriend Jenna Sommer got killed by Hope's dad... And Josette Laughlin, my biological mother, she got killed by my uncle. My mom's husband, Stefan Salvatore, he sacrificed himself on their wedding day too. I told Hope about my apprehensions for the wedding and she said that her family would never let something happen to us. I totally believe her, the Mikaelsons did so much for me and I trust every single one of them. And soon, I was going to be a part of the family.

When me and my sister were done with the invitations and the location, we started to look for dresses and rings. Hope told me she already bought everything she needed. We went into a pastry to choose her wedding cake. Hope ate most of the samples the employee gave us which was pretty funny. "Which one do you like better?" she asked licking her fingers. "I like the vanilla one, it's classic and so good" I said. "The vanilla one it will be" she said. The employee nodded and took some notes then he left us. "Do you want some more cake?" Hope asked me. "Hmm I'll just take a bite of this cake" I said pointing the red velvet one. She grabbed the plate and took a piece of cake with her fork. "Open your mouth" she said. I opened it and she shoved it in. I burst out laughing so did she. "You're so cute" she said. "My fiancé" she added. I leaned over and kissed her. "You taste like cake" I said laughing.

We left the pastry and Hope was still hungry so we decided we were going to a restaurant. "Can I-" I started. Hope threw me her car keys. "Drive.." I whispered. "Are you reading my mind Hope Mikaelson?" I said as a sat in the car. "I don't know Josie Saltzman. Am I?" she asked. "Saltzman.." I murmured to myself. Obviously, Hope heard it. "You know" Hope started as she put her hand on my upper thigh. "You can keep your last name if you want. You don't have to take mine. I know that we are renowned for bad reasons and I would totally understand" she said guessing what I was thinking about. "It would honestly be an honor to wear the name of the Mikaelsons. I just don't know if I'm good enough for it" I whispered. "Of course you are! Even if you're name is Josie Saltzman, Josie Mikealson or Josie Saltzman-Mikaelson, I will always love you the same" she said with an honest voice. "Josie Saltzman-Mikaelson... I like it" I said. "I do too" she said.

We got to the restaurant and walked in. The waitress showed us our table. Hope pulled my chair back for me to sit and she pushed it when I was done. We both ordered pasta and salad. "Are you stressed about the wedding?" Hope asked as she took a bite of salad. "Yes" I a answered honestly. "About what?" she asked. "Everything. We need to hire a chef, find what we're going to put on the center of the table, I have to find my dress and your ring, I have to write my vows, we need to-" I said before Hope put her hand on mine. "You're not alone my love. I'm not always the most organized person, but I'm here to help you. Don't you worry and stress about the wedding" she said with a smile. I smiled back. Only her can reassure me like that. "Are you going to eat your tomatoes?" she asked. I laughed and shooked my head. When we were done eating, I drove all the way back to the school. I was so exhausted that I went to sleep as soon as I got in our room. Hope wasn't really tired but she cuddled with me until I fell asleep.

I got woken up 4 hours later by a knocking sound. I sat on the bed and looked around. I realized Hope wasn't in bed with me. I saw a little light opened close to the work desk. I got out of bed and walked in the light's direction. I found Hope asleep, her head and her arms on the desk. There was a checklist that I did with all the things we have to do for the wedding and almost everything was checked. I understood that she spent the last 4 hours planning everything because earlier I told her I felt stressed about it. The only things that weren't checked were my wedding dress, her ring because she was buying mine and I was buying hers, my vows and we had to find a celebrant. I was so happy and surprised that she did that. I gently put my hand on her shoulder and she jumped a little bit. "Hi baby" I whispered. "Hmm.." she said looking at the desk still sleepy and confused. "Come on let's go to bed" I murmured. She got up slowly. I grabbed her hand and she followed me. I led her to the bed. I placed her in front of the bed while I went to the closet to find her pyjama. I heard a loud sound from the bedroom. I rushed to see if everything was okay. Hope was laying face down on the bed. I laughed in silence. "Hope turn around please" I said. She didn't move. "Are you still alive?" I said joking. She didn't move. "Because if you're not I'm going to marry someone else" I said to make her move and it worked because she turned around. I unzipped her ripped jeans to put her some sweatpants on. "Raise your arms if you love me" I said like I was talking to a little child. She raised her arms so I could take off her t-shirt. I detached her bra and put her a comfy oversized t-shirt. "Get here" I said pulling the blankets down. She got under them and I pulled them up. I layed beside her and she came closer to me to snuggle. Usually, I'm always the one who snuggles on her. She wrapped her arms around me and rested her head on my shoulder. "I love you" I whispered to her. I kissed her forehead and fell asleep.
