"Ahhhhh!" I screamed as I shot up in bed,I was sweating. "What a dream! It seemed so real!" I said getting up and getting ready for my first day. Once I was ready I went downstairs for breakfast. It was early in the morning way earlier than I normally get up. "Lets see....." I opened the fridge to pack my lunch. "Brown rice, chicken, pudding, fruit, and juice pouch." Throwing each item into my lunch box as I listed them off. "Your up early." Said my mom. I looked up from my food. "I know. Woke up and couldn't go back to sleep." I said yawning. "Well you look gorgeous today." I had on a nice blouse, some slacks, some nice dress shoes and a scarf. "Thanks Mom. I have to get going now." I said stuffing the last bite of food into my mouth. "I love you." My mom called after me. "I love you too mom." I yelled back.
At a fast pace I walked to my new job. "Wow this is really happening." I thought to myself as I walked. "I'm the majors new assistant." I was in my own space as I walked into the mayor's office building, and because of that I ran into a pillar. Snapping out of my thoughts as I landed on my butt. "Owwww." I said getting up dusting off my pants and knocked on the office door. "State your name and business." Said a voice on the other side of the door. "Livie Grey. I'm here to start my new job as the majors assistant." I said with confidence. "You may enter." The major said. I walked into the mayor's office. "Good morning Mister Major." I say as I walk in. "Please call me Solstice, Livie." The major said giving me his name. "O-ok."I stutter. "Livie your desk is to your left. Your job is rather simple. You will manage the finances, my schedule, and grab me lunch everyday. You got that?" "Yes, sir Mr.Solstice." I say sitting down at my desk.
A few hours later I go get his lunch along with something for me seeing I forgot my lunch at home. When I get back I see Mr.Solstice with a knife in his shoulder. I painck, "What am I going to do." I was about to pull the knife out when I remembered that pulling it out will make blood go everywhere. I calmly check his pulse. "Good he is still alive." I sigh with relief. "Ok I need towels, bandages, and a first aid kit." I said while running to the supply closet. I lay a towel on the floor, then I move Mr.Solstice on to the towel. I get the towel I am going to use to stop the bleeding. After I had everything set to patch the wound I pulled the knife out. I quickly put pressure on the wound to stop the bleeding. After awhile it stopped, so I put the medicine on the wound a few seconds later Mr.Solstice went into shock. "No no no no don't Die on me Boss!" I shouted as I started CPR. Suddenly my hands started to glow pink. Mr.Solstice's pulse started up again and his wound closed, there was no scarring. "What in the world just happened?" I asked out loud. "My child, you have awakened your power." A mysterious voice said. "W-who a-are you?" I ask the mysterious voice. "Who I am is not important. My child there are four others like you. Each with a different mark find them......." The mysterious voice just stopped. "What do you mean there are others? Hello? You still there?" I asked the voice. The mysterious voice did not answer. "Ok I guess it's gone." I thought as I grabbed my spare change of clothes. I change in to them putting the bloody ones in a sink with water and hydroxide so the blood doesn't stain. I wet a towel with the same mixture and start to clean the carpet and desk. Once I was done I sewed up the hole made by the knife in Mr.Solstice 's jacket. I left a note saying what happened leaving out the part where my hands glowed. I walked home bloody clothes in a plastic bag. I throw the clothes in the wash when I got home. I ate dinner, took a shower, then crashed on my bed. Falling asleep as so as my head hit the pillow
