Phil stood across from the large, now silent, man as he sat with his hands cuffed behind him. Phil paced around the holding cell hurling comments and questions at the intruder, but he seemed rather unbothered by his capture. Instead he sat in the chair staring ahead blankly, probably not listening to a word the agent said. Lucas and Mikayla stood on the other side of the glass that separated them from this mystery of a man. Mikayla hadn't taken her eyes off of the man since he was captured, her curiosity had simply gotten the best of her. Puzzled, she stood with her arms crossed as she seemingly looked into his soul. Lucas caught sight of her rigid posture and raised his eyebrows as he watched her.
"I know he's hot Mikayla, but there's no need to gawk at the guy."
"That is not what I'm doing," she defended a little too quickly, "I'm just trying to figure this guy out. I mean did you see how upset he looked earlier?"
"Upset?" Lucas brought his hands to his hips and mumbled incoherently before continuing. "Kay, he beat up some of the biggest agents at S.H.I.E.L.D and just tore through the base all willy-nilly."
"Yes, all that is true, but did you see him after all of that? When he saw the hammer in the ground?"
"Uh, I'm not sure that I could have not seen him. He made a very big scene about it," the boy tried but failed to stifle his chuckle, "it was all a little over dramatic if you ask me."
"Well, I didn't."
Mikayla rolled her eyes bitterly at her brothers snide remarks towards the intruder. She was trying to get him to understand the reason for her interest in this man. She could tell that something was off about him, and she really could have used his help to figure out what it was, but clearly he was going to be of no assistance to her. Turning her attention back to the interrogation in front of her, Phil's next words brought her back to the reality of the situation.
"Who are you?"
The brunette listened intently for the man's answer, her mind spinning as she awaited his answer. But it never came. He sat silently still, and barely even looked at Phil as he questioned him. Completely and utterly unsatisfied with his answer, Mikayla spun around and walked off, her hands clenched into fists. Inside of the cell, Phil seemed just as unsatisfied with his answer as Mikayla was.
"One way or another, we find out what we need to know. We're good at that."
