Katie suffered through two days of inquisitions from her family. It got to the point where Katie jumped at the chance to pick Achilles up from the Denver airport.

It was a long, five hours, drive to Denver, but it was a much needed respite for Katie. Katie was excited to see Achilles. She hadn't seen him face to face in a few months. He had been busy with his family's business. Achilles was always emailing Katie manuscripts that he wanted her opinion on. Katie was a bookworm who devoured books at an alarming rate. Katie could read a thick thousand page book in less than a week while it took Achilles twice that long to read it.

Katie was waiting for Achilles at the airport when he came into the terminal. Men and women gazed hungrily at Achilles. They wanted Achilles for his looks and the money that he had. How many other people could afford to be flown in on their private jet?

Achilles walked into the terminal as if he owned it. He was dressed in his trademark black suit with charcoal grey dress shirt and black shoes. His suit coat was unbuttoned and he carried his computer bag on his shoulder while his right arm was carrying another small bag that he had thrown over his shoulder. His long strides carried him quickly through the terminal till he reached Katie's side. Achilles gave Katie his heart stopping smile as he set his bag down and kissed Katie on the cheek.

"You didn't have to come and pick me up."

"I know I didn't have to." Katie agreed. "But I wanted to. My family was driving me nuts and I haven't seen you in ages."

A sexy smirk crossed Achilles' face as Katie led him away from the curious onlookers. "I think you just wanted to see my handsome face."

Katie looked up at Achilles where he walked next to her. Achilles was totally hot and sexy. He was Godlike in his appearance. Achilles was blessed with smooth sun kissed skin and long black hair that was softer than cashmere. A smirk was never far away on his kissable mouth and Katie always had to refrain from running her fingertips along his lightly whiskered jaw that was surprising free of stubble today. A straight nose, perfect cheekbones, and intense emerald eyes finished off the ensemble. It also didn't hurt that Achilles stood close to 6'6" and had hard muscles that made a woman's mouth water.

"I can't help it that you are way too handsome."

Achilles flashed Katie the same winsome smile that had captured her attention ten years ago when they had met in a club that one of Katie's coworkers had dragged her out to.

Morning was just beginning to break over Denver as Katie led Achilles over to her car which was in need of being replaced. Achilles frowned as he studied her car. Katie popped the trunk and let the steward that had followed them through the terminal load Achilles' luggage. Achilles thanked the man by name in fluent Greek. The man nodded back with a smile before he left with a friendly wave.

Katie already had her car started and was buckled in waiting for Achilles. Achilles folded himself into her car and buckled himself in. He didn't say anything as Katie left the airport. Katie rolled the windows part way down and turned up her music. They stayed in companionable silence till Denver was an hour behind them.

Achilles reached forward and lowered the radio. "You should really let me buy you a new car Katie."

Katie sighed and gave Achilles a cross look. "We've had this conversation before Achilles. The answer is no."

"Why?"

Katie shrugged. "Ask me again once you meet my family. There's a reason why I don't like people buying stuff for me."
