Katie smiled all the way home. The week down in Council Grove had been spent walking along the river, exploring the historical places in town, and having lots of sex with Achilles. Katie had enjoyed all of it, especially the sex.
"We need to take another trip."
Katie laughed as she glanced over to where Achilles lounged in the seat next to her as they waited for the movie to start. Achilles had wanted to see what movies were playing in Hays so that he could hold her hand during the entire show. Achilles looked yummy like he always did in his dress clothes which were like normal everyday wear for him.
"Where do you want to go next?"
Achilles rubbed his thumb soothingly across Katie's knuckles as he thought about that. "You've spoken of going to Colonial Williamsburg. We could go there."
Katie perked up. "That would be amazing. You have no idea how much I want to go."
Achilles laughed softly as the theater lights dimmed. "I take that as a yes."

"You're back!" Jackie exclaimed as she threw her arms around both Katie and Achilles in a hug. "How was it?"
All Achilles did was smirk. Katie smacked him on the arm. "It was wonderful, thank you for asking."
Jackie held onto Katie's hands. "I'm glad that you got the chance to be alone together." Jackie swallowed audibly. "I managed to convince the others to lay off of you for awhile. My threat to leave seemed to work, but I'm not sure how long it'll last."
Katie sighed. "Thanks Jackie. You did your best." Katie pulled away from Jackie and willingly went with Achilles as he tucked her beneath his shoulder. "I just don't understand our family and I'm afraid that I never will."
"They are lost in their own little world." Jackie agreed.
Katie decided to change the subject. "How's the boyfriend? Did he finally make it home?"
A broad smile spread across Jackie's face. She gave a dreamy sigh before she blushed slightly. "Angelo was so attentive to me. He even brought me some stuff back from Italy."
The word Italy caught Achilles' attention. "He's from Italy."
Jackie nodded. "Angelo was doing a study abroad when we ran into each other accidentally at the pumpkin patch in Ellis. We hit it off right away. Angelo will be done with school next year and we're trying to decide what to do."
Achilles rubbed at his chin. "I'd like to meet him. I might have some way to help him stay here if he wants too."
Jackie perked up and started jumping up and down in excitement. "That would be awesome Achilles! The only other option we had thought of was marriage, but neither of us is ready for that quite yet."
Katie frowned at Achilles when he looked sideways at her. "What?"
Achilles shook his head with a small smile. "Nothing. I just thought of something."
"Well?" Katie queried.
"Let me make some phone calls and then I'll tell you."
Katie opened her mouth, but before she could say anything she was interrupted as her family arrived home. Katie gave Achilles a look which said that she wasn't done questioning him. All Achilles did was smirk at her as he greeted her parents warmly.
After supper, Achilles and Katie escaped to her tiny room. Achilles flopped attractively down onto the bed. Katie followed him and settled herself comfortable on top of him. Achilles raised an eyebrow at her as a slow and sexy smile spread across his face.
"You're playing with fire."
Katie grinned as she leaned down to kiss Achilles. "I like playing with your fire."
Achilles' hands roamed Katie's body as they contented themselves with kissing.
"Too bad you have the smallest bedroom imaginable."
Katie giggled as she snuggled up close to Achilles. "We could remedy that by leaving and going to one of your houses."
Achilles' hand that was busy weaving its way through her hair went still. Katie looked up at him with a frown. Achilles gave Katie a thoughtful look.
"That's actually a good idea. I have met your parents and now it's time for you to meet mine."
"I've already met yours Achilles."
"Yes, but your family hasn't. Maybe that'll wake them up."
"Maybe," Katie said as she laid her head back down on Achilles' chest. "Or it could make them greedy."
Achilles shrugged as he resumed stroking Katie's hair. "Either way, it'll get us out of this tiny room. Besides, my family will want to gloat about us finally getting together. You have no idea how many times I have heard how great we look together and when will we become more than just friends."
Katie giggled. "I can't wait to see the look on your Grandmother's face. She's wanted me for a granddaughter since I first came to visit."
"I'll call in the morning," Achilles murmured sleepily. "Right now I just want to fall asleep with you in my arms."
Katie snuggled up against Achilles. "I can handle that."
