Poppy POV:
It has been 5 weeks and I still don't know what ate those rabbits. And more and more dead animals were found from a mouse, to a deer. As I was eating my cereal, I heard a knock on my door. "Come in!" After I said that, for some reason I felt a little dizzy, maybe I wasn't drinking enough water. "Poppy, are you alright? You have been looking a little, shaken ever since the dead rabbits." I heard my dad say, with a hint of worry. "Ya, I'm fine, its just weird to find dead animals in the middle of the village, and most of the animals here are really nice." I looked down at the floor. "Don't worry poppy, you'll figure out. But right now, I want you to get ready, I don't think anyone would be able to wake up the village with a song but you." He said giving me a smile. " Okay dad, love you!" "Love you too." After I got ready, I felt more dizzy. I should probably get some water. But as I was walking to the sink, I fainted waking up in a weird dirt pod of some sort. I felt my self get up but instead of me being on two feet, for some reason I was walking on all fours. I felt the sun sting my eyes for a short second and I was sniffing around and than I heard a mouse close to a bramble bush. I started walking towards it, and than when I got close I started crouching getting ready to do, something. Than the last thing I remember was jumping on the mouse, causing it to scream?! "Poppy!!!!!" I shot up, feeling exhausted "Poppy, you alright? You didn't come out of your pod for 3 hours than we saw you on the floor. And while you were out, you were making weird grunting noises. You alright?" I heard smidge explain,
that was weird, grunting? Why would I do that. And wait, 3 HOURS?!?!? I was out for three hours?! It felt like 5 minutes! "What? Are you sure, it didn't feel like that." I said. " Poppy, we are worried. You were curled up in a ball. Are you sick?" I heard creek say. "No, I don't think so. But......." "But what?" Biggie questioned. "Its nothing." I said giving a fake smile. "Oh, well if you want to talk about it we'll be right here ready to listen." Dj said, we all decided to go out and eat lunch. I got a chocolate brownie, we all day down close to a tree. But when I took a bite of the brownie, for some reason it tasted like a animal died in my mouth. I spit it out, the snack pack looked at me in horror. "Poppy!!!!!! You alright?!?!? Why did you spit the brownie out?! You never do this to chocolate!" Guy Diamond said. "I'm sorry, but it tasted like a dead animal! I'm going to brush my teeth to get the taste out of my mouth." I answered, I started to walk towards my pod. And after I brushed my teeth, I heard a knock on my door. "Poppy? Are in there? I just want to talk to you." " Okay.... " Creek came in the door, looking a little worried. "Are you alright? All after noon you have been acting a little.... Weird, first you fainted for 3 hours, than you said the brownie tasted like a dead animal, and if you didn't noticed you kind of stomped while we were walking to the bakery. Are you sure you are alright?" I didn't know what to say. " I don't know, but tomorrow we might be able to figure it out." I said. "Okay... But remember, you can always tell us what is going on." " I know." "Alright, just wanting to make sure. See you tomorrow princess." "You too!"
