''I mean- Sandy?'' Peter shook his head. He was lucky he could get away with everything if he added a smirk after.
''Tell me about it Stud.'' Rita smirked back breathing deeply in relief.
The final music, and Rita's personal favorite, started to play filling her entire body and soul with the purest of happiness.
I've got chills, they're multiplying.
And I'm losing control, 'Cause the power you're supplying
Is electrifying
Peter finished singing still laying on the floor floor where he had pretended to be electrified. His jacket was somewhere in the audience and Rita threw her's as well before she dropped the cigarette she had still on her lips right under Peter's nose, stepping on it after.
Peter looked at her with widened eyes and she pushed him away with her feet.
You better shape up, Cause I need a man and my heart is set on you.
You better shape up, you better understand
To my heart I must be true.
With her palm still on his chest, she looked up. Peter pulled her closer by her waist with a tug so intense they slammed their bodies together.
You're the one that I want,
The one that I want,
The one that I need.
When the music faded into the instrumental both knew it was it.
He looked at her with eyes shinning and it was as if every ounce of breath was taken from her lungs floating into the air like smoke. She gazed so intently at each crack of his lip, as if it could map out ancient seas and college plans and tell her everything she doesn't know.
''You're the one that I want Sandy.'' He whispered and his lips brush Rita's and not innocently. It was like a tease and hot, fiery, passionate and demanding. That wasn't scripted.
Rita felt his fingers tug deeper into the tiny gap of bare skin on her waist so much that if it didn't felt so good and right it would hurt. She smiled, her heart fluttering at his voice, hands clasped on either side of his face.
