It was a very cloudy and rainy day in California. For the past week it has just been raining for hours. I clung to the umbrella as I quickly walked down the sidewalk. I was soaking wet, but my apartment building was only a few blocks away.

I began to walk over a bridge, when I saw a man around my age sitting on a bench. He was insane! He had no coat, nor an umbrella! I would've stopped, but I was too much in a hurry. As I was about to pass him he slowly rose and started to climb the ledge of the bridge. I knew exactly what he was going to do. I threw my umbrella to the ground and bolted towards the man. Before his foot left the ledge I firmly grasped his shirt and, with all my strength, pulled him off. He landed right on top of me. We stared at each other, breathless. He slowly sat up.

I convinced the man to stay with me until the rain dies down. I lost my umbrella while I was saving his life so we were both soaking wet. I made hot chocolate while the man was in the bathroom changing into old clothes, it was a good thing I kept clothes from my exes. We didn't talk at all, we didn't have to, the company was just nice.

"So, seeing that I just saved your life, care to explain why you were going to do that in the first place?" I asked softly not trying to set him off. He sat on my couch, cross legged slowly sipping the hot chocolate. His eyes met mine again, and I could see all the pain inside of them.

"My father, he has just passed away and...I just couldn't do it anymore." He finally spoke. His voice was deep and raspy, yet it broke at the beginning when he talked about his father. My heart aches for him.

"I know how that feels. Losing a parent, well it's hard." I said softly sipping the hot chocolate, although I haven't lost a parent, I lost a grandfather.

"I have no one to turn to, if you weren't there to stop me I would've..." He trailed off looking out the window that had rain hitting it. I stared at him checking out his amazing features. He was handsome, exquisite. A drop of rain slid down from his hair down the side of his face, along his jawline. I watched as his fingers gently wiped it away. I watched as he clenched his jaw. His brown hair was soaking wet, with some blonde at the top. His fingers ran through his hair slowly. Every move he made was truly fascinating.

"I'm glad I stopped you." I said with a small smile. For once he smiled weakly at me. Even if it wasn't a huge grin, it was something. I stood up setting my cup on my coffee table and slowly sat down next to him. I could see his body tense up. He was bigger than my ex, so his abs were very noticeable through the shirt. I could see every single one. His arms were about to rip the sleeves of the shirt. He was built.

His eyes searched mine frantically, not sure on what to do. Slowly I held his hand and squeezed it reassuringly.

"Even if I just met you, and It was to stop you from doing that, I will be here for you." I said flashing him a smile. I watched his body relax and he intertwined our fingers, squeezing it back.

I sighed and laid my head on his shoulder. We both watched as the rain hit to window, sliding down it making different lines and joining other water strands. We sat and talked for hours, by the time the rain stopped we were passed out on the couch holding each other tightly.

I might have just met you Grayson Dolan, but this isn't the last time I am going to save you.
